Kim Kardashian has today found herself in hot water with millions of left-leaning fans, after appearing to show her support to Melania Trump.
Taking to Instagram yesterday, the SKIMS boss shared a controversial post on her story about the Republican president's other half, leaving her following concerned that she is now an advocate for the Trump administration.

Donald Trump made history yesterday as the first ever convicted felon to be sworn in as president of the United States, following an election win last year that left millions of Americans terrified for their futures.

Among those to support him at Washington D.C.'s Capitol Rotunda were his five children, and wife Melania - with whom he shares his youngest son Barron, 18.
The mum-of-one's outfit immediately caught the attention of those watching from home, as she opted for a black and white ensemble and a statement head accessory in the form of an extremely wide-brimmed hat.
The headwear was actually so extreme, that during one viral moment from yesterday's televised proceedings, the new president attempted to kiss his wife, only to be obstructed by her hat in a disaster that viewers couldn't help but comment on.
As we say, however, Melania's get-up also caught the attention of reality TV star, Kim Kardashian, who seemingly praised her on social media for her fashion choices.

Why are people upset at Kim Kardashian?
The Kardashians star shared a snap of the First Lady, 54, climbing out of her car to attend the prestigious presidential address, showing off her sharp, monochrome aesthetic.
While Kim opted not to caption the image, or share any context surrounding her post, it has been widely perceived that she was praising Melania for her style - something she regularly does with other fashion-forward celebs.

And in doing this, many of her 358 million followers believe she is some way advocating Trump's controversial administration.
"Successful billionaire, Kim Kardashian, has posted Melanie Trump on her Instagram story," one noted, adding: "We know who she voted for."
Another critic agreed: "She definitely voted for her husband."
"Kim Kardashian is really not hiding that she voted for Trump," a third claimed.

A fourth went on: "Why are people shocked a billionaire is supporting the right??? That’s literally textbook".
Kim Kardashian's political stance
The concerns come after mother-of-four Kim opted not to publicly endorse either Kamala Harris or Donald Trump during the presidential election in November - something she'd previously done, and always in favour of the Democratic party.

In 2018, aspiring lawyer Kim also met with Trump at the Oval Office during his first stint as president, where she pleaded with him to commute then-jailed Alice Marie Johnson's life sentence, after she was convicted in 1996 for her involvement in a cocaine trafficking organisation.
Following the successful meeting, Kim wrote online: "I would like to thank President Trump for his time this afternoon.
"It is our hope that the President will grant clemency to Ms. Alice Marie Johnson who is serving a life sentence for a first-time, non-violent drug offense."
