Former Real Housewives of New York City star Bethenny Frankel has given Kim Kardashian some key advice amid her battle with Kanye West after their daughter appeared on a track with Diddy.
Earlier this week rapper Kanye threatened his former wife Kim in a series of text messages, which he posted on X before swiftly deleting them.
The conversation saw the 47-year-old say he would 'go to war' against Kim, who was seeking to protect her eldest child, North West, 11.

The dispute centres around a new song that Kanye has released in collaboration with disgraced rap star Sean 'Diddy' Combs, which features the voice of North.
'Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine', also stars Diddy's son King Combs.
Rapper Diddy, 55, is currently in jail awaiting trial on charges including sex trafficking.

During the text conversation, Kim said: "I asked you at the time if I can trademark her name. You said yes.
"When she's 18, it goes to her. So stop."
The star continued to defend her child, as she added: "I sent paperwork over so she wouldn’t be in the Diddy song to protect her. One person has to trademark!"
The Kardashians star explained that she had trademarked all her children's names so that nobody else would be allowed to use them.

Kanye responded: "Amend it or I'm going to war."
Taking to Instagram on Sunday (16 March), Bethenny Frankel gave Kim some words of wisdom 'as someone who has been through a horrific decade-long divorce on a two-year marriage'.

The reality star, 54, advised the SKIMS founder to focus on 'decision-making' rather than trademarks.

She explained: "[Decision-making] is so important in a divorce because people always focus on the custody time.
"What's most critical is decision-making because God forbidden something happens with the kids that is medical or is for education or something important.
"You need a sane, rational, non-punitive party to be making those decisions and if Kim has decision-making, then it's irrelevant whether or not she has the trademark for her daughter because in a best interest of a child matter, a judge doesn't care about trademarks as much."
The star branded herself as an 'expert' when it comes to 'all matters of divorce and custody'.

Users online were baffled by the leaked text messages, as one responded: "Why would he use his children on a Diddy song… this is actually disgusting."
Another said: "Kim seems like a pretty reasonable co-parent and puts up with so much s**t. This isn’t normal and must be so horrible and frightening to endure."
