People have been calling for Kim Kardashian to issue an apology for an insensitive comment she made about Kate Middleton's 'disappearance'.
The 43-year-old TV star came under fire for making light of Kate's absence from public life in the caption of an Instagram post.
Now, following the Princess of Wales' heartbreaking admission that she's currently receiving treatment for cancer, Kim's followers have demanded her to take responsibility for her insensitive remark.
Over the last few months, thousands of online conspiracy theorists have been speculating over Kate's whereabouts, after she failed to make a single public appearance since undergoing abdominal surgery back in January.

Following a self-confessed Photoshop fail made by Kate, and with Prince William conducting several royal visits on his own, theories over her wellbeing continued to increase in absurdity.
And last week, mum-of-four Kim joined a number of other A-list stars - including Gossip Girl star Blake Lively, who herself made a PhotoShop 'joke' - in poking fun at Kate's absence.
The SKIMS boss used the rumours surrounding the Royal Family's predicament as inspiration for one of her photo captions, writing: "On my way to go find Kate."
This was posted alongside a snap of herself posing outside of her home.

Within a matter of minutes, many of Kim's followers took to the comment section, shunning the star for her 'cruel' comment.
"Not very kind. This 'joke' will likely seem cruel with hindsight," one hit out.
Another went on: "Really? Had to get on the Kate Middleton train. I knew there was a reason I stopped watching your show."

A third asked: "Why would you say that?"
While a fourth accused: "Trolling at its worst."
Since Kim's controversial comment, Kate has addressed her absence, opening up about her cancer treatment in an emotional video.
The Princess thanked the public for their concern over her health, explaining that after her successful major abdominal surgery, 'tests after the operation found cancer had been present'.

"My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment," she said.
"This of course came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family.
"As you can imagine, this has taken time. It has taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment.

"But, most importantly, it has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I am going to be ok."
Now, following Kate's admission, people have been calling for Kim to apologise for her post.
Taking to the original snap, one wrote: "I think an apology is needed!"
Another added: "After the news of her having cancer has been revealed, you should really take this down. It’s extremely insensitive and you owe our princess an apology."
"Can you please go find an apology instead??" a third begged.
Someone else went on: "Didn’t age well. You never know what someone is battling."
Tyla has contacted Kim Kardashian's representatives for comment.
