Breastfeeding is a wonderfully natural thing, but Kourtney Kardashian has left fans reeling after admitting to downing a pint of the stuff on her Instagram.
Would you drink breast milk? That’s a conundrum many have faced when expressing their own milk as curiosity can take over.
While it may be normal to taste a drop of breast milk to find out what it’s all about, some online users believe that downing an entire pint glass is taking it too far.
Kourtney is known for her obsession with holistic remedies and sometimes unconventional foods, but now she’s exploring the world of breastmilk as a natural remedy.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star revealed that she drank her own breast milk after feeling unwell.
After breastfeeding her son, Rocky Thirteen, who is now five months old, the star admitted to taking a slew of homeopathic supplements to boost her milk production.
This included barley, congees, bone broth, and kitchari.

Admitting to her followers that she’s partial to a pint of her own milk, she said in her post: “This filter is crazy and I just pounded a glass of breast milk because I feel sick. goodnight.”
Other celebs have spoken out about how they've used their breast milk as a natural remedy, including Ferne McCann who appeared on Steph's Packed Lunch to talk about her baby daughter.
She shared that she’s tried her own milk too and claimed that nurses told her to use it as a remedy.

She said: “Finty, when she was born, had a little bit of weeping eye, and the community midwives are like, 'Put a little bit of breast milk on.’
“If Lorri had a blister I would suggest squeezing a little bit onto the blister, it'd be healed in moments.”
However, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) warned about giving a baby breast milk that doesn’t belong to its mother.

The FDA website states: “Risks for the baby include exposure to infectious diseases, including HIV, to chemical contaminants, such as some illegal drugs, and to a limited number of prescription drugs that might be in the human milk.”
There are also risks involved if the milk isn’t stored properly, with adults also facing the same dangers if they drink someone else’s breast milk.
So, for all of those husbands putting their wives’ milk in their morning coffee, this is for you.
