Miles Teller and Paris Hilton have seen their homes reduced to rubble in the LA fires

With Los Angeles Fire Department officials finally beginning to control the devastating wildfires that erupted earlier this week, groups of local residents have now been permitted to return to their homes.

Sadly, however, thousands of properties and structures across the Palisades, Pasadena and the Hollywood Hills have tragically been destroyed as a result of the devastating bushfires - many of which were previously owned by huge-name stars.

Taking to Instagram, a handful of celebrities have now given their fans a heartbreaking insight into the impact the fires have had on their former homes, after they and 180,000 other California residents were forced to flea when the first fire erupted on Tuesday (7 January).

The 43-year-old mother-of-two revealed yesterday that she and her family were forced to watch their home ‘burn to the ground on live TV’.

Paris later shared footage on online of where the beloved home she previously shared with husband Carter Reum, son Phoenix and daughter London once stood.

It was clear to see that no element of the property still remained, other than a couple of concrete walls.

The Simple Life star described her 'heartbreak' as 'truly indescribably' in a lengthy, emotional statement, confessing: "When I first saw the news, I was in complete shock—I couldn’t process it.

"But now, standing here and seeing it with my own eyes, it feels like my heart has shattered into a million pieces."

Paris also revealed that the colossal property was where her son's 'little hands made art that I'll cherish forever', adding: "To see it reduced to ashes… it’s devastating beyond words."

Cameron Mathison

The Canadian television star previously told Entertainment Tonight that between 20 and 30 homes on his street alone have been engulfed by flames, including his own.

The 55-year-old - who previously lived with 21-year-old son Lucas and daughter Leila, 18 - shared a video from his home on Wednesday morning, tearily telling his followers: "It was all gone, it was really, really decimated. It’s all just burnt to just ashes."

He also told the news outlet that he wishes he'd grabbed more items before he and his family fled from the property.

"We grabbed passports and birth certificates," Mathison explained. "I got all the photo albums that I could get out of there.

"I unfortunately left some really valuable ones where the kids were very, very young, and film that you can't replace.

"I grabbed my dog's ashes. I grabbed a stuffed animal of my daughter's," the All My Children actor added. "And that was it. That was it.

"If I really thought that the house was going down, I would have grabbed so much more."

Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag

The married couple - who famously starred on The Hills in the early Noughties - were among the first stars to reveal their home had been destroyed as a result of the wildfires.

Prior to their evacuation, 41-year-old Spencer shared footage of Los Angeles Fire Department officials attempting to control the fire encroaching onto their home from across the mountains on social media.

In the clip, firefighters could be seen attempting to douse the fire with water being dropped from above.

Sadly, however, he and wife Heidi's property was among those in the Palisades area that was burned to the ground, with Spencer's sister and former Made In Chelsea star Stephanie Pratt confirming the news online.

Revealing she'd been in London when the initial fires broke out, she shared a photo of Spencer where the fires could be seen in the background.

"I am beyond heartbroken for my brother, Heidi & the kids," she wrote. "And to all of our friends and neighbours who have lost their houses today.

"Just spoke to my dad - he tried to save my brother's house but the wind is so strong there was nothing he could do. Even the fire station in the palisades has burned down. The Pacific Palisades is completely on fire. No one is there."

Spencer later shared a more detailed look at the wreckage of his home, captioning the video: "At least the swing set survived."

The Whiplash actor and his wife Keleigh only purchased their $7.5 million home in 2023, located between the Palisades Bluffs and Palisades Village.

Tragically, however, the 6,600 square feet property burned down earlier this week, with Miles' other-half sharing before and after images of the impact the fire had.

A snap shared to Keleigh's Instagram showed that, not only had the flames destroyed the property, but it'd burned one of their vehicles, with only their front gates still standing.

"To everyone reaching out I can’t thank you enough, your kind hearts have meant the world, I’ll never forget them," she wrote in the caption.

"Community has come out stronger than I could imagine, pacific palisades I love you beyond measure you are a little slice of heaven, we will come back stronger than ever."

Keleigh then begged: "If you’re in the LA area PLEASE get out if you can. I wish I grabbed my wedding dress .. wish I did a lot different but it doesn’t matter, stay safe, get out.

"There are no words. THANK YOU to the first responders fighting."
