Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards has cancelled her upcoming performance following the sudden death of Liam Payne.
Edwards, who appeared on X Factor in 2011 a year after Payne rose to fame with One Direction, has directly responded to the singer's passing.
It's been confirmed that Payne died after falling from a third floor hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina, last night (16 October).
Edwards, who joined Little Mix alongside Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall and Jesy Nelson on the ITV programme similar to how Payne was put into One Direction, also used to date his former bandmate, Zayn Malik.

"He was always a joy, had time for everyone, polite, grateful, and was always humble."
O'Leary rounded off the touching tribute, adding: "Sending love and prayers to his family. Dx."
It's also since been confirmed that fellow ITV talent show, Britain's Got Talent, has also cancelled its auditions set to be filmed today due to Payne's sudden death.
