Music industry bosses have announced that a song recorded by Liam Payne prior to his tragic death earlier this month is set to be posthumously released this week.
The former One Direction singer, 31, passed away in the Argentine capital of Buenos Aires last week after he fell from the third floor balcony of the hotel he was staying at.

The father-of-one - who shared seven-year-old son Bear with ex-partner Cheryl Cole - had been visiting South America to attend the concert of his former bandmate Niall Horan.
He and his girlfriend Kate Cassidy - who returned home to Florida in the days prior to the heartbreaking incident - had been staying at the CasaSur hotel when fellow guests called police about an 'aggressive man' at the property.
Witnesses said the individual in question 'may have been under the effects of drugs and alcohol', before he was identified as musician Payne.
Despite the hit-maker's body not yet having been returned to the UK amid an ongoing autopsy, several of his acquaintances in the music industry have rallied together - led by fellow chart-topper Sam Pounds - to have a song Payne wrote before his death released to his fans.

A track titled 'Do No Wrong' - performed as a duet between Payne and Pounds - is expected to drop on Friday (1 November).
Taking to X yesterday (28 October), Pounds broke the news.
"I pray that this will be a blessing to the world like Liam has always dreamed," he penned.

"I pray angels will comfort you all every day while listening. I pray that this song will be a blessing to [Payne's sister] Ruth, Bear, and the entire family."
He added: "I pray that this song eclipses the negative echoes. I pray supernatural positive healing power will embrace each and every one of you.
"Presave links here. With love - let’s all BE the blessing."
Pounds also shared several clips last week of he and close friend Payne recording the song in a studio, claiming that together they'd 'made some awesome and beautiful music together that will live on forever.'
He added in a heartfelt tribute: "This is how I’ll always remember [you] brother. The happy funny and talented brother, father, and friend."

Following his death - which police officials said was caused by 'internal and external haemorrhaging' as a result of the fall - Payne's family also issued a tear-jerking tribute to the star behind huge hits like 'Strip That Down' and 'Polaroid'.
"Liam will forever live in our hearts and we’ll remember him for his kind, funny and brave soul," the statement said.
They added: "We are supporting each other the best we can as a family and ask for privacy and space at this awful time."
Other tributes have since been pouring in, with One Direction saying in a joint statement that they felt ‘completely devastated’ by the news.

Payne's ex-partner Cheryl also spoke out about what has been an 'indescribably painful time' for her as she begged reporters to consider the son that he had left behind.
