Love Is Blind star Chelsea Blackwell has opened up about her journey with GLP-, medications, which can help manage Type 2 diabetes and obesity, as she credits it as one of the reasons behind her major transformation.
Chelsea, who starred on the reality TV programme during the sixth season, took to Instagram last week (28 March) where she shared with fans that she’s feeling 'better than ever' after losing 30 pounds with the help of the injectable medication.
The 32-year-old captioned the Instagram video showing off her bodily transformation: "I’ve not only dropped the weight but also picked up some seriously awesome healthy habits (that will forever stick!)."
She continued: "The best part? This is just the start of the adventure, and I’m SO ready for what’s next! Healthy girl summer here I come!

"I feel like I have more energy than ever," she gushed. "My skin is clearer. My mood’s enhanced. I sleep like a baby."
However, on the following day (29 March), Chelsea took to social media to directly respond to people in her DMs who have been branding her a 'horrible role model' over the fact she's been taking GLP-1 - short for glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists - to help with weight loss.
"We are in the year 2025. First you guys are screaming at me that I’m the fattest person to grace your television. And then I lose the weight and now you guys are mad. I don’t understand," she said.

"I think the only thing I do understand is that you guys are really sad. I’m the healthiest and happiest I’ve ever been in years. If you think that I care about how you guys are mad that I have lost the weight…"
The reality TV star continued: "I’ve expressed that I’m on a GLP-1. I feel the best I’ve ever felt in years. I have more energy than I’ve felt. It’s something that’s worked for me and I will never lie to you guys. I’ll be very open about it,” she continued.
“But you’re either damned if you do, you’re damned if you don’t. You’re damned if you talk about it, you’re damned if you don’t. I quite frankly don’t care. I feel like my followers like to hear my story and my journey, and maybe there’s someone I can relate to that has struggled their whole life. But I’m in the best body I’ve ever been in in my entire life. I feel amazing."
Chelsea concluded the post: "This is my body and if you don’t like it, then that’s okay.

"The last thing I’m gonna do is try and let you guys dull my sparkle and steal my happiness from me. So, God bless you guys but go get a hobby."
GLP-1 is a hormone naturally produced in the small intestine that plays a crucial role in regulating blood sugar and appetite, and is the target of medications used to treat Type 2 diabetes and obesity.
