It's finally happening, the new cast of this year's Love Island UK season has now been announced!

We've not got too long to wait now until the hit ITV reality TV programme lands on our screens after what has felt like an eternity of waiting next Monday (1 June).

The 13th series will see the iconic Maya Jama return as host to watch over all the action inside the sun-drenched Mallorca villa.

With unexpected arrivals, shifting loyalties, and sparks flying, the new series promises even more unforgettable moments, unmissable messiness, and plenty of romance.

From DJs and models to teachers and business owners, here’s your first look at the cast already preparing to ruin each other’s peace.

Robyn

Robyn (ITV)
Robyn (ITV)

At 21, Robyn is a Quantity Surveyor and DJ from Liverpool who already sounds ready to run the Villa before she’s even unpacked her suitcase.

She says she’s all about personality, but admits she still loves a tall, fair 'pretty boy' with muscles and nice teeth.

She’s firmly against bad manners, mouth-open chewing and anyone acting superior to everyone else. A reasonable standard until she casually declares there's 'never been' any competition for her.

Robyn says she’s entering the Villa for love rather than drama, though she admits she can be 'a little bit of a brat' when flirting to get what she wants.

She also plans to take her time before coupling up, watching how people behave before deciding if they’re worth her energy.

Lorenzo

Lorenzo, 28, is a Business Owner from Hertfordshire and already feels like someone producers will keep very busy this season.

He describes his type as traditionally blonde and 'a little posh', but also revealed he pays particular attention to a girl’s arms and neck - interesting.

Lorenzo says drama is 'fun' as long as nobody’s crying. He also admits he can be a tease while flirting and says he always goes straight for what he wants rather than playing it safe.

Despite that confidence, he also claims he’d encourage girls to speak to rival boys too, calling it 'reverse psychology'.

Mica

Mica is a 21-year-old student from Barbados who now lives in London, and she sounds like she’ll quickly become one of the most entertaining Islanders in the lineup.

She wants someone tall enough to make her 'feel small', with personality being the main thing that matters.

While love is the priority, Mica admits she’s definitely going to be nosey if drama kicks off around her. She says she’ll always try to stay respectful if she’s pursuing someone another girl likes, but she’s still ultimately there to get what she wants.

Her dating life so far has apparently been 'quiet but peaceful', though she insists that’s changing this year.

Sean

Sean (ITV)
Sean (ITV)

Sean, 25, is a Primary School Teacher from Galway and may already have delivered the shortest Love Island answer of all time.

Asked about his type on paper, he simply replied: "Female!"

Beyond that, Sean says he can’t stand cockiness or dry personalities and plans to go after whoever he likes without hesitation. He insists he’s there for love, but he also hinted he might 'mix' the drama rather than stay completely out of it.

His flirting style apparently involves using his Gaelic football background as a chat-up tactic. Whether that works outside Galway remains to be seen.

Unlike some of the others, Sean rates his own dating history very highly, describing himself as both a World Cup winner and player of the tournament.

Ellie

Ellie (ITV)
Ellie (ITV)

Ellie is a 24-year-old Real Estate Videographer from West Lothian who enters the Villa with very clear expectations.

Her type is 'tall, dark and handsome', with tattoos, nice teeth and just enough emotional danger to potentially break her heart.

Ellie says confidence is attractive right up until it crosses into cockiness, which she has absolutely no patience for. She’s there to find love and isn’t afraid of drama if it comes with it.

She also seems extremely confident in her flirting abilities, insisting VAR would probably just let her 'play on'.

Samraj

Samraj (ITV)
Samraj (ITV)

Samraj, 25, is a model from Birmingham who says he doesn’t really have a physical type and instead focuses on personality and how someone carries themselves.

He’s not interested in loud people who constantly argue or dominate every room they walk into. Instead, he seems more relaxed and observant, saying he plans to sit back initially and figure out who he genuinely connects with before making moves.

That said, he also openly admits he enjoys competition and is excited to see how he compares against the other boys in the Villa.

As for his love life so far, Samraj compared it to a football team that can’t even qualify for the tournament. At least he’s honest!

Lola

Lola (ITV)
Lola (ITV)

Lola is a detective from Kent with a weakness for 'tall, Italian-looking' men and a deep hatred of the phrase 'cheeky chappy'.

The 28-year-old says humour is non-negotiable when it comes to attraction, alongside someone smart enough to teach her a few things.

She’s not too fussed about hair colour, despite somehow always ending up with blondes.

Drama isn’t really her thing, although she admits she enjoys watching it unfold from a safe distance. What she actually wants is a proper relationship and, in her words, someone 'obsessed' with her.

Her biggest ick? Backpacks. Not the people wearing them. The backpacks themselves.

When it comes to the Villa, Lola says she’ll absolutely go after who she wants, but she won’t step on toes if feelings are already serious.

Samuel

Samuel (ITV)
Samuel (ITV)

Samuel is a 25-year-old electrician from Dudley who describes his ideal partner as classy, mature, blonde and fun.

His biggest turn-off is fake behaviour with a clear Villa policy of no two-faced chatting, no unnecessary rudeness and no performative nonsense.

Samuel says he’s done the single life properly and is now genuinely ready to settle down. He also admits he’s previously been 'too nice' while dating, dragging things out because he didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings.

Unlike some Islanders who love a slow burn, Samuel says he goes straight for what he wants.

And as for competition? Samuel says: "I’ve never really had to compete before, so it’ll be interesting. I know what I bring to the table, and I’m confident in what I have to offer. As I said, I’ll go after what I want and hopefully score the goal."

Angelista

Angelista (ITV)
Angelista (ITV)

Angelista, a 24-year-old nurse from Staffordshire, is looking for a tall, dark and handsome man with nice teeth, 'quiet confidence' and actual follow-through.

She’s not interested in loud personalities or people constantly demanding attention, so anyone making every conversation about themselves may want to start packing now.

Angelista says she’s firmly focused on finding love rather than getting dragged into drama.

Her confidence isn’t lacking, though, as when asked about her flirting game, she simply replied: "I back my flirting game. It’s not too much, it’s a nice in the middle, it’s smooth. I think I’m alright!"

Her dating history hasn’t exactly delivered fairy-tale results so far, with Angelista admitting she’s been 'knocked out in the first round' plenty of times.

Well, fingers crossed the Villa might finally change that!

Ope

Ope (ITV)
Ope (ITV)

Ope is a 27-year-old West-End performer from Lincolnshire with shedloads of confidence and absolutely no interest in playing it safe.

His ideal woman is a shorter girl with great hair, nice teeth and strong banter. Northerners get bonus points because, according to Ope, they’ve got 'better crack'.

While he insists he’s in the Villa to find love, he’s also very open to sitting back and enjoying the drama from a safe observational distance.

Ope's main goal is making people feel comfortable around him, although he has casually declared he's got 'the best smile in Britain'.

"I’m not here for the drama, and I want to find love, however, the drama could be funny. I love the ‘watching with a telescope, ooh what’s going on, sip the tea’ kind of vibe. I’m not here for the drama…but I’m here for the drama," he revealed.

He added: "No one phases me. I’m so confident in my ability to just do my thing. I don’t get phased, I don’t get impersonated, I don’t get threatened. It’s not even about them, it’s about me. I’m very confident in myself as a person. I love my beauty, I love my looks, I love my humour. If someone fancies someone else more than me, then that’s on them. I won’t take it personally."

Jasmine

Jasmine (ITV)
Jasmine (ITV)

Jasmine is entering the Villa loud, confident and fully prepared to involve herself in everybody’s business.

The 27-year-old fashion business owner, originally from Dubai and now living in London, says she likes men who are objectively attractive, charismatic and confident. Insecure men need not apply.

"I’m always involved in everyone’s business. I’m basically the auntie of the group. Everyone literally calls me 'Jasmine Auntie'. So bring me love, bring me drama, bring all of it," she shared.

Jasmine added: "t I flirt with everyone. And half the time, I don’t even mean it. Sometimes I might not even fancy someone. I’m just flirting because it’s entertaining to me."

As for competition, Jasmine’s response was firm and to the point: "Respectfully, what competition?"

Aidan

(ITV)
(ITV)

Aidan, a 23-year-old property broker from Kent, says personality matters more than having a strict physical type, and he’s looking for someone fun, easygoing and able to take a joke.

"If we’re constantly laughing and getting on, that’s what matters most," he said.

Unlike some of this year’s louder personalities, Aidan isn’t keen on controlling people or anyone constantly inserting themselves into drama that doesn’t involve them.

Although finding love is the priority, he admits he’ll still be observing the chaos and maybe stirring the pot 'a little bit'.

As for his 'relationship strategy', Aidan said: "I’ll speak to as many people as possible and get to know everyone. For me, it’s about being myself. I’m confident in my personality, so I think that will come across naturally."

Well, one thing's for sure. We're all very excited to see what goes down this season...
