Dating guru Mel Schilling has this week admitted she 'a problem with' 80s supermodel Elle Macpherson, following a series of controversial claims she made about her recent cancer diagnosis.
Schilling, 52 - famed for her appearance as a resident Married At First Sight match-maker - was herself diagnosed with bowl cancer last year, and took to social media this week to issue a stern-warning following her fellow Aussie's 'concerning' message.

For those out of the loop, Macpherson lifted the lid on a heartbreaking cancer diagnosis she'd received back in 2017, but immediately followed the news with the admission that she refused conventional treatment from day one.
Speaking to Woman's Weekly, the 60-year-old revealed she was told by 32 medics at the time that her HER2-positive oestrogen-receptive intraductal carcinoma needed immediate treatment.
Despite being advised to undergo chemotherapy, as well as a mastectomy, radiation, hormone therapy and a reconstruction of her breast, she declined traditional treatment, opting to 'trust the nature' of her own body to handle the disease.
She also implemented daily prayer and meditation, and hoped that an 'intuitive, heart-led holistic approach' would assist in her recovery.

The controversial confession had sparked a wave of backlash from some of the model's followers, however, including MAFS star Mel Schilling.
Taking to Instagram this week, the mother-of-one hit out at Macpherson, admitting in a video: "I'm having some thoughts about Elle and the interviews she is doing lately, as a relatively new member of the cancer community and as someone who has just completed six months of chemo."
She continued: "Elle revealed several years ago she was diagnosed with breast cancer and saw more than 32 doctors, who advised her to have a combination of chemo, radio and hormone therapy.

"She chose not to do that and chose a more holistic, wellness approach, which included things like prayer, meditation and so on."
Schilling also confessed to taking issue with the fact that Macpherson is a 'high-profile role model', adding that her take on treatment could pose dangerous to other cancer sufferers.
"So, for me this message she is peddling is plagued with judgement, arrogance, superiority and privilege. It concerns me," she continued.
Schilling broke the news of her own diagnosis in December 2023, revealing that 'severe cramps' she'd endured - along with a series of other symptoms - pointed to colon cancer.

Since then, she has spoken openly about her treatment, and consistently urges her fans to book a GP appointment if they ever suspect something could be wrong.
Adding to this week's social media statement, however, the Channel 4 star finished her rant by advising Macpherson to be more cautious about her claims.
"My greatest concern is people will listen to her and then choose not to take the medical route and could be in danger," she confessed.
