Maya Jama and Stormzy have just this morning (17 July) announced their shock split for the second time.
In their 'dramatic' statement, the Love Island presenter and award-winning rapper briefly opened up about their journey together, referencing the fact they first 'fell in love' a decade ago in 2014 before their first split in 2019.
So, without further ado, let's get into the full relationship timeline of the former it-couple.

2014
Maya, 29, and Stormzy, 30, first crossed paths back in 2014 at an event in London and began dating shortly after.
2015
They officially started dating early the next year with Maya telling Vogue back in 2018: "If I'm really honest, I knew I fancied him from the start."

She added: "But I didn't want anything yet, because, you know, you're trying to do the whole friend situation first, and then I'd do, like, obvious hints that I fancied him and then take it back because I didn't know if he definitely likes me.
"It was a childish phase. And then one day we just kissed, and that was that!"
2016
The following summer, Stormzy wrote the track 'Birthday Girl' which Maya also featured in.

Sharing the sweet tribute to X, he penned: "That was for the Mrs but I hope any girl that hears it can vibe to it and play it on their birthday also and feel special."
Maya went on to also make a cameo appearance in 'Big For Your Boots' in 2017.
2017
A year later, fans were delighted to hear that a possible wedding was in the cards for the couple with Stormzy telling the Mirror: "I'm still so young but I want to propose, it's going to happen and I will do it right. She is so sick, she is the best."

2019
The world was rocked when the pair then announced their split in 2019 - five years after first meeting.
The rumour mill then went into overdrive, speculating about possible reasons why they broke up with some accusing Stormzy of cheating on Maya.

Stormzy fervently denied such accusations.
2020
Stormzy opened up about the split in an interview with Charlamagne Tha God where he admitted he had 'never loved anyone' the way he loved his ex.
He explained: "I would love to be the man who she needs, I would love to do all the things that make this work. I want to marry her, I want to have her children."
The same year, Maya spoke to Cosmopolitan about what she had learned following the break-up.
"It's made me extra careful," she revealed. "I was 20 when I got into that [with Stormzy]. Now life is different. Even social media is bigger. It's going to be harder to keep things private but I'll do my best."
2021
A year after that, Maya went public with her relationship with, basketball player Ben Simmons and the pair got engaged.
2022
The engagement didn't last, however, as the couple had reportedly decided to part ways just a year later.
That same year, Stormzy discussed the 'mistakes' he made with Maya in a documentary with Louis Theroux.
He explained: "My breakup was probably the biggest catalyst for my growth as a man.
"It was like, 'OK, you made a mistake and you lose someone you loved, someone you cared for, someone who is special to you.'
"That's probably the biggest loss a man can have, isn't it? Away from someone passing away, that's the biggest loss you can have."
2023
Everything changed last year, however, when Maya and Stormzy were seen holidaying together and holding hands in Greece.
They also spotted the Merky Books founder making a cameo in Maya's Instagram videos during the trip which seemingly 'confirmed' the relationship.
Speaking to British Vogue that same year, Maya said that she was unaware of the cultural significance their relationship seemed to have among a 'certain group of people'.
"None of us really knew the level of importance it held to a certain group of people, us being together," the TV presenter explained.
"We were both super ambitious. We were both from similar upbringings and we were both just little grafters that have made something good of ourselves.
"It was lovely when it was lovely, and then you move."
Then, in October, Maya and Stormzy made their relationship Instagram-official and, a month later, they were seen holding hands at a Vogue event.
2024
Less than a year later and the pair have now called it quits for a second time earlier this morning (17 July), sharing the news on Instagram with a joint statement.
It read: "Hey guys, we've been laughing whilst drafting this because we never, ever, in a million years thought we'd be the couple announcing a breakup, but for the sake of clarity and, more importantly, to allow us the space and grace that's needed for us both to be able to navigate this next bit of our lives with peace, we thought it might be best to.
"We fell madly in love in 2014, broke up in 2019, and then spent five years manoeuvring life apart.
"We decided to try for the final time in August 2023, and we've spent this past year trying our best to make it work; however, we recently decided to call it quits.
"We were 21 and 20 when we first met-both at the beginning of our careers-and spent five years growing together and then five years growing separately, so this final attempt required a whole lot of figuring out, relearning, and unlearning.
"We tried, and it didn't work, and that's okay."
The statement explained that while the pair 'still think the world of each other' they are moving forward as friends.
They also warned fans about 'causing a fuss' if they're spotted out and about as friends.
"We still think the absolute world of each other, we still care and respect each other, we are still grateful for the time we've had together, and we are still friends and will always be friends (so if you see us having a lil catch-up at The Brits or something, don't cause a fuss, we are dawgs!)," it continued.
"Announcing this feels so dramatic, but we're doing it so that it kind of takes away the drama and avoids speculation and rumours.
"We're kindly asking for the grace to let both of us keep it moving and not be bothered about it (we highly doubt this'll work, but we're still kindly asking anyway)."
