Megyn Kelly has told Taylor Swift she should ‘kiss song sales to the Republican audience goodbye’ before calling the singer and Travis Kelce ‘the epitome of elite snobs’ in a scathing rant.
Following vice president Kamala Harris, 59, and 78-year-old former president Donald Trump’s US debate in Philadelphia on Tuesday (September 10), Taylor Swift pledged her allegiance to the former on Instagram.
“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election,” she wrote to her 283 million social media followers.

“I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them.”
Swift added she was ‘heartened and impressed’ by her selection of Harris’ running mate Walz, 60.
She praised him in the caption for ‘standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades’, before signing it off: “Taylor Swift. Childless Cat Lady.”

This was in reference to vice presidential candidate J.D Vance's comments about Democratic women being a bunch of 'childless cat ladies'.
American commentator Megyn Kelly quickly took to her SiriusXM podcast, The Megyn Kelly Show, to react to the ‘Bad Blood’ hitmaker’s declaration.
“You can kiss your sales to the Republican audience goodbye Taylor, I hope you enjoyed them while you had them,” Kelly began.
She continued to question how Swift could be ‘fine’ with the Minnesota governor’s alleged plan ‘to take custody of children from parents who don’t want them to chop off their body parts’.

“That’s what led Taylor Swift to endorse him,” she continued.
Kelly is referring to a false claim made last month regarding Walz allegedly signing a bill that would allow Minnesota courts to ‘take custody’ of children and from their parents if they refused to consent to gender-related medical care, as per AFP.
It’s understood in March 2023, Walz signed a Trans Refuge Bill which gives legal protection to transgender people coming from other states to seek medical care.

The legislation contains no provision for allowing the state to ‘kidnap’ children if their parents do not support their gender transition, as per Advocate.
“I’m allowed to criticise Taylor Swift and I don’t give a s**t who gets upset,” Kelly continued to rant on her show. “This is disgusting.”
The podcaster went on to launch a campaign of hate against the singer’s boyfriend and NFL tight end Travis Kelce.
She claimed the couple were ‘the epitomes of elite snobs’ before saying the 34-year-old sportsman ‘didn’t care’ about what would happen to men taking a COVID-19 booster jab.

“They will be sitting in their mansions in Rhode Island and California and New York and jetting across the world saying ‘Let them eat cake’ because they’ll be bathing themselves in their own sanctimony.”
Kelly claimed she believed the couple were ‘too obsessed’ with their net worths to have a ‘thought for those they hurt’.
