Michelle Keegan fans have made a very important point after she announced she’s pregnant with her first child.
Fans of the 37-year-old Fool Me Once star were absolutely over the moon when she and her husband, Mark Wright, also 37, shared the news on Instagram over the weekend (29 December).
The post saw the couple, who tied the knot back in 2015, standing on a beach while Michelle cradled her growing bump.
"2025 is going to be a special one for us," she captioned the photo.

In the past, the Brassic actess has spoken about being continuously asked when she and Mark would be having kids.
"I get asked about children whereas Mark wouldn't for example," she told Women's Health.
"'Why haven't I had a child? When am I going to have a child?' I don't know what they want me to say. I don't know what the right or wrong answer is."
When asked if her family ever ask, she added: "Not any more!... People don’t mean any harm by it, but they know what the answer’s going to be."

Michelle also urged people not to ask couples about when they're planning on starting a family, adding to the Mirror: "It’s horrible. People don’t know if we’re trying. They don’t know the background of what’s happening. In this day and age, you shouldn’t be asking questions like that. I’m asked purely because I’m a woman.
"But I’m immune to it now – it’s like a reaction, and as soon as I hear it I brush it off as it’s no one else’s business."
Following yesterday's announcement, fans have rushed in to not only congratulate the soon-to-be parents but to also hit back against such people relentlessly asking Michelle when she and Mark were going to have a child.

One Instagram user penned: "Congrats to you both! I hope this will shut up all the people who have been hounding you with asking when you're having a baby!!"
"It's absolutely no one's business annoys me it does," hit out a second while a third chimed in: "People still commenting saying how long they've waited for this... people are actually unbelievable."
A fourth agreed: "You took the words right out of my mouth. It gets me so angry. How do people know if she hasn't been trying or sadly had miscarriages. Those type of comments can really upset people."

"Congratulations to you both, now all the Karens will stop nagging about you both having a baby..." slammed a fifth.
Another echoed: "Maybe all the interfering busybodies will leave you alone for a bit & stop asking now!"
And a final Instagram user added: "The best news! Now everyone can leave you alone and stop asking if you are hoping to have kids!"
