Mickey Rourke has been evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house following inappropriate comments and behaviour.
But unlike conventional exits from the show, the public didn't vote for the American boxer to leave the show. Nor did his housemates nominate him to leave during a game or challenge.
Instead, the decision was made by producers, who had ceaselessly warned the 72-year-old about his offensive language towards his cast-mates.

Eventually, it was a bout of sexually-suggestive remarks - all of which he aimed at The Only Way Is Essex bombshell Ella Rae Wise - that saw him get called into the infamously Diary Room and subsequently be banished from the building.
The controversial comments have since seen the Oscar-nominated actor be thrown into hot water with the British public, along with the rest of the world, as clips of his behaviour goes viral online.
Early last week - just days after the 2025 instalment of the big-name series kicked off, Rourke first came under fire for directing a number of homophobic remarks at Dance Moms youngster JoJo Siwa.

On Wednesday, he explicitly asked the 21-year-old - who identifies as a lesbian - about her sexuality, before threatening that 'if [he stays] longer than four days, you won’t be gay anymore'. As well as threatening to 'tie her up' - in what Siwa's partner has since branded a 'rape joke' - he also joked about 'voting the lesbian out'.
Later on in the show, Rourke declared that he was going for a 'f*g' [cigarette], before pointing to Siwa and saying 'I’m not talking to you' - a move that prompted Love Island's Chris Hughes to shut him down.
Despite the voice of 'Big Brother' going on to give the retired boxer a warning, during the latest episode of the show, Rourke made a 'sexual remark' towards 24-year-old TOWIE star, Wise.

During a pirate-based task over the weekend, she informed Rourke, 'You've got to come with me.' The Wrestler actor then replied, 'Come in you?' - a remark that horrified viewers.
Wise later told EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer of the comment: "It’s fine - you can be just someone, but be mindful of what it can trigger in other people, because it’s made me feel very uneasy." She also claimed the comment left her feeling like 'a piece of meat'.
Taking to X, one fan of the reality TV series hit out: "I feel so bad for ella, the fact mickey is clearly used to treating women like they’re a piece of meat and not actually human beings says a lot about him and his character.
"Cbb should be ashamed of themselves for letting it get this bad to boot out the creep b*****d."

Another demanded: "How are people blaming 24-year-old Ella for being uncomfortable at sexual comments made by a 72-year-old Mickey Rourke. It doesn’t matter what she’s wore, what she’s posted on Instagram, what she’s done, he’s vile and his behaviour is inexcusable."
And a third went on: "The most disturbing thing was that Mickey didn’t even realise he had made inappropriate sexual comments to Ella. Then, even when told, he took no responsibility or accountability. He was only sorry for losing his temper with Chris. Vile predator of a man, good riddance."
The latter piece of criticism was centred on a bust-up that Rourke sparked with former islander Hughes, 32, who he claimed 'eyeballed' him during one of the housemate games.

"Mickey it was a joke," Hughes told him, to which Rourke aggressively replied: "Don’t f***ing eyeball me. You c***.
Big Brother intervened after the tension progressed, calling Mickey into the Diary Room.
"Earlier today in a disagreement with Chris, your language and behaviour was threatening and aggressive," producers told Rourke. "Big Brother does not tolerate threatening language or behaviour. In addition, you have used inappropriate sexual language to Ella."
After informing him he was to leave the show, Rourke replied: "I blame myself, I know it was my bad. You know, I’ve got a short fuse and I know I upset a lot of people out there, you know. And I’m sorry for that.
"I’m actually ashamed of myself for getting that hot. I went over the line, you know, I did wrong. I guess, like they say, I’m a work in progress. I just wanna pack my bags and leave, you know. I wanted to leave yesterday actually but I wasn’t chosen."
