Molly-Mae slammed by charity over ‘unacceptable behaviour' in new documentary

Molly-Mae slammed by charity over ‘unacceptable behaviour' in new documentary

Molly was criticised during one particular scene in the documentary Behind It All.

Molly-Mae Hague has been criticised by a charity over some 'unacceptable behaviour' in her Amazon Prime Video documentary, Molly Mae: Behind It All.

The documentary delves into Molly's life behind the cameras, from being mum to toddler Bambi, to starting her own fashion brand, Maebe, and of course, her high profile break-up from boxer Tommy Fury.

During the doc, cameras follow Molly's day-to-day life as she balances work, motherhood and navigating co-parenting.

In one scene, Molly can be seen pulling up to McDonald's where she orders a large Big Mac meal, as well as some chicken nuggets and mozzarella dippers.

"I actually live to eat, so many people around me are just like, 'I’ll just get the salad' and I’m just like, that could never be me. If it’s salad with chips then yeah I’m on board." she said.

In the following scenes, Molly could be seen chatting to the camera while driving and munching on her nuggets.

Although it's not actually illegal to eat behind the wheel, you can be penalised if it takes your attention away from driving.

Speaking to Mail Online, a spokesperson for road safety charity IAM RoadSmart, Harriet Hernando, explained the risks involved with eating while driving.

"If you’re distracted, you may even fail to brake at all which risks a huge collision. Then there’s the risks posed by spilling hot food on your lap, which may cause an involuntary reaction," she said, adding: "Even in dry conditions, if you’re travelling at 60mph and eating, and you’re suddenly forced to slam the brakes on in an emergency, it’ll take you over 70 metres to come to a stop."

"All this puts other road users at risk and dramatically increases the chances of crashing and killing or seriously injuring someone." she continued.

"There needs to be more awareness, especially among young drivers, that this isn’t acceptable behaviour. Our advice to Molly-Mae Hague is to avoid eating while driving and take a break instead."

RAC also emphasise that while it's not illegal to eat while driving, you could be fined if it causes a distraction.

"If you get distracted while snacking behind the wheel, the police could prosecute you for careless driving if they consider you to not be in proper control of the vehicle, an offence which carries an on-the-spot fine of £100 and three penalty points," they explain.

In his interview with Men Health, Tommy addressed the reason behind his and Molly-Mae's breakup, revealing that it was because of his negative relationship with alcohol - and slammed the 'b*****t' cheating rumours.

The Love Island star confirmed her ex's revelation and talking to her mum at one point in the programme, Molly-Mae explains that Tommy has been visiting their Cheshire home to check on the nearly two-year-old daughter, Bambi, that the two share.

"It’s all so fresh, and I feel really traumatised by the last couple of months, and when I see him, I see all that trauma." she begins in an emotional confession.

"I am angry at him, and I am very hurt. I can’t help that."

Molly-Mae's reps declined to comment when approached by Tyla.
