When a photo went viral earlier this month seemingly showing Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury locking lips on New Years Eve, fans of the recently-separated couple were left wondering what it meant.
Was it really them? Were they back together for good? Or was it just one final night of passion?
Finally, however, after what has felt like a lifetime of waiting, Molly-Mae has addressed the speculation and confirmed the kiss in a bombshell conversation with press.
After meeting on Love Island in 2019, moving into a plush Cheshire home together, welcoming a beautiful baby girl and getting engaged, fans were blindsided last year when Tommy and Molly-Mae called off their romance.

Sharing the news on social media in August last year, the mother-of-one admitted: "Never in a million years did I think I'd ever have to write this. After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way."
In the months ever since, UK headlines have been littered rumours of Tommy's alleged infidelity - though he has vehemently denied these claims, with him since confirming it was due to his own problems with alcohol.
And despite social media star Molly-Mae maintaining that she's spent the last six months focussing on raising their daughter Bambi, earlier this month The Sun shared a NYE party kissing snap, claiming the people in the picture were Tommy and Molly-Mae.
Neither party confirmed nor denied the truth of the image, which prompted countless new theories about the status of their relationship.

As we say, however, 25-year-old Molly-Mae has finally spoken out about the viral kiss, confirming it was her and Tommy, as well as revealing why she felt hesitant to address it before.
Speaking to Tyla and other news outlets yesterday (15 Jan) ahead of the Friday release of her Prime Video documentary Behind It All, Molly-Mae was asked explicitly whether the lip-locking moment with Tommy was the first of many.
Initially hesitant, she began by admitting: "Yeah, I think it’s just – we are navigating a really complicated time in both of our lives in the public eye. And I think, this is a whole new territory for me.

"Tommy and mine’s relationship has been in the public eye always, but to deal with this break-up with millions of eyes watching, it’s hard and it is complicated."
After seemingly confirming that the pair did enjoy a smooch when the clock struck midnight on December 31, she explained: "The reason why I don’t comment on it or speak about it on my YouTube is because, simply, we’re both navigating it ourselves.
"We’re both figuring it out as adults and as parents. We’re doing the best we can.

"But I really do feel like the documentary is going to answer a lot of questions, and we’re going to touch on that situation – you’ll see a snippet. The last thing I want is any confusion."
Another theory forged following the hotly-discussed snog was that their entire split had been a farce, created as a means of promoting Molly-Mae's fashion line and new documentary, as well as Tommy's return to boxing.
The blonde beauty wasn't afraid to address this speculation either, candidly admitting she 'wished' the break-up was fake.
"I do talk about [those rumours] in the opening scene [of Behind It All]," she began. "I think that, for me, above everything, has been the most frustrating part because – I literally say in the documentary – I wish it was a publicity stunt, because it would be a lot easier. Going through all this, the turmoil of a break-up, has been hard.

"And I think, to have those comments – and I do see those comments, people saying this has obviously just been done launch my brand, or a publicity stunt – that is very painful to me because it’s real life."
Molly-Mae continued: "Tommy and I have a baby together, and it’s very, very real. It’s a really hard thing that we’ve gone through these last six months. But yeah, I wish it was a publicity stunt, but it isn’t."
She added: "I think this documentary will clear up any question of that – you see a real side to it. It’s a bit like you’re a fly on the wall, and like I say, I think people will be surprised by how honest we’ve been."
Molly-Mae: Behind It All eps 1-3 launch exclusively on Prime Video on 17th January. The latter three episodes will drop in Spring 2025.
