In a bombshell new interview this week, Monica Lewinsky has made yet another shocking claim about her ex-lover, former POTUS Bill Clinton.
Speaking on the Call Her Daddy podcast, the former White House intern declared that the former US President should have done one thing differently when their intimate affair was exposed in 1998.
For those in need of a reminder, Lewinsky bagged her initially-unpaid job in the Oval Office after a family friend intervened. From 1995 onwards, she worked as one of Clinton's interns, under Chief of Staff Leon Panetta.

The former US leader was married to wife Hillary Clinton at the time, with the couple having tied the knot in 1975.
A sexual scandal was later exposed, and afterwards, Lewinsky was left battling mind-blowing six-figure legal fees.

Reflecting on the relationship with podcast presenter Alex Cooper this week (Wed 26 Feb), Lewinsky made a series of eyebrow-raising remarks about Clinton - including claims that he should have resigned from the White House.

"I think that the right way to handle a situation like that would have been to probably say it was, you know, nobody's business and to resign," the 51-year-old spoke out on the show.
"Or, to find a way of staying in office that was not lying and not throwing a young person who was just starting out in the world under the bus."
When affair allegations first came to light, Clinton - now 78 - denied everything, swearing under oath that the pair had never enjoyed sexual relations with one another.
Lewinsky, on the other hand, claimed she'd had 10 encounters with the politician in the Oval Office over an 18-month period.

Clinton was eventually impeached by the House of Representatives, but was acquitted of all charges in 1999. He later remained in his position until the end of his second presidential term in 2001.
Speaking on the show, however, despite pointing out the power imbalance between she and Clinton - who was 49, and she, 22, when the affair was exposed - she insisted it's 'very clear' their relationship did not consist of 'sexual assault'.
"Therefore, there's a level of consensuality that was there," Lewinsky continued. "And at the same time because of the power dynamics and the power differential, I never should have been in that position."

Of the way she was subsequently viewed by the public, she added: "I think there was so much collateral damage for women of my generation to watch a young woman be pilloried on a world stage, to be torn apart for my sexuality, for my mistakes, for my everything."
Lewinsky's latest remarks come just a week after she pointed out the difference in treatment she endured afterwards, compared to Clinton.

Revealing on her very own self-fronted podcast last week (19 Feb), she revealed that she and her family were forced to pay $1 million in legal fees, claiming they initially believed these costs could be wavered when it was proven the affair had happened.

Sadly, they didn't.
"[It was] another stripping of my sense of justice and the way the world works," the cyberbullying campaigner explained. "And I think I had lost so much of that in the investigation. There was just a sense of unfairness.
"I had made mistakes, but it felt like there was one set of rules for most people, and somehow, I had to abide by a different set of rules."
