Paris Hilton is arguably one of the biggest names from the golden Y2K era.
Along with the likes of Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Lindsay Lohan, the now 43-year-old American socialite pretty much ruled that time period and became known for her slogan baby tees, blonde hair extensions and signature piercing blue peepers.
However, fans are only just realising that The Simple Life star's eyes aren't actually blue at all.

One eagle-eyed fan, Jackson Strike, who goes by the handle @jacksonstrike, online took to TikTok to share a little more on the little-known subject matter.
He began: "I just had my entire world rocked, because I learned that Paris Hilton’s eyes are not actually blue."
Jackson then joked: "She is officially more committed to her aesthetic than anyone will ever be," before claiming 'she was not seen in a single photograph without her signature blue contact lenses' between the years 2005 to 2015.

He continued: "Now that I’m looking at more photos of her when she was younger, I guess it’s kind of obvious."
After some speculations over the comfortability of coloured contact lenses, Jackson finished up: "But anyway, her actual natural eye colour is more of a brown-hazel and I think it looks gorgeous either way.
"She didn't have to do all that for us."

Clearly, Jackson wasn't the only person this was a bombshell discovery for as many other fans rushed to the comments to share their shock.
One TikTok user penned: "I had a whole crisis when I found this out too."

"Need to be this dedicated to the bit," praised a second, while a third praised: "She’s actually an icon."
Another quipped: "She was committed to her character!"
"Its funny to see this bc I jus found out two days ago as well lmfao she is DEDICATED," echoed someone else.

A final X user admitted: "She made me want to get blue contacts I love how eye colour can change someone’s entire look."
Talking of Paris, fans were left gob-smacked when she exposed her 'real' tone of voice after switching up her 'baby voice' half-way through a speech earlier this year.
During a heartfelt speech to the US Congress about child abuse - something the socialite says she experienced herself during her time at a youth facility as a teenager - viewers noticed how her iconic 'baby voice' changed to her alleged 'real' voice.
Fans claimed that the change in voice could have been because Paris wanted to be taken more 'seriously', given the nature of what she was discussing.
