When Paris Hilton introduced her newborn son Phoenix to the world last year, she had no idea that the tot would be ceaselessly subjected to savage remarks about his appearance.
Eventually, the trolling became too much for the US reality star, and she went on to land the perfect blow in the form of a damning social media message.
Let's remind ourselves of Paris' savage statement...

As we say, Paris and her entrepreneur husband Carter Reum became first time parents in January last year, welcoming a beautiful baby boy. It took until October, however, for the now 43-year-old to share the first snap of her son, whose full name is Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum.
Sadly, her joy was quickly tainted after thousands of hateful comments began pouring in, many of which poked fun at the size of her son's head.
Thankfully, just a month after uploading her first picture of Phoenix, Paris was too distracted by the birth of her second child - a daughter named London Marilyn Hilton Reum who was born via surrogate in November - to pay the trolls any mind.

This didn't stop the slander coming, however, and eventually, Paris was forced to issue a statement.
Speaking to PEOPLE, she revealed that the nasty sentiments caused her ‘mama bear instincts’ to come out in full force.
The Simple Life star said: "Usually, I wouldn't even dignify anything like that with a response, but I was just heartbroken that there are such cruel people in the world. I couldn't believe that they could be mean and vicious about a little innocent baby.

The mother-of-two went on to claim that fans and haters could say what they wanted about her, but her ‘little angel’ was where she'd draw the line.
"And if anyone ever says anything to hurt him or his feelings, I will always be there to protect him," she added.
Speaking about the keyboard warriors, Paris went on to accuse them of being 'miserable' in their own lives.
However, it wasn't all doom and gloom for the Reum-Hilton clan, and the 'Stars Are Blind' singer went on to claim that her fans, friends and family had rallied around to support Phoenix.

It was said that mothers across the internet flooded Paris' posts with well-wishes, which made her 'so grateful'.
"It makes me feel so grateful knowing that there's so many people in the world that love and support me," she told the publication. "Sticking up for me meant the world to me, and to have people looking out for Phoenix in that way, it meant a lot."
She continued: "So anyone reading this, thank you so much. I really, really appreciate everyone looking out for us."
