Pedro Pascal has respectful 8-word response to joke about Jennifer Aniston dating rumours

Gladiator II's Pedro Pascal has had his say on the rumours surrounding his and Jennifer Aniston’s relationship amid growing fan speculation.

Over the weekend, Page Six reported that Pedro, 49, and Friends alumni Jennifer, 56, had spent three hours dining together in West Hollywood.

This meeting at the Tower Bar in the Sunset Tower Hotel has apparently been enough to spark dating rumours - with some claiming the pair could be the ‘power couple we never knew we needed’.

Another theory that fans put forward was the idea that Pedro could be joining Jennifer on The Morning Show.

The Apple TV+ programme’s fourth season, starring Jennifer and Reese Witherspoon, wrapped filming in December 2024.

However, a fifth outing has yet to be confirmed by the tech titan.

The idea of Pedro joining The Morning Show comes after an interaction he had with the Murder Mystery favourite and Reese, 49, on the 2024 Critics Choice Awards red carpet.

The latter said that there was a ‘really good part’ for Pedro to take on the drama show.

Pedro responded: “Pitch it to me now.

“I’m in. I’ll be waiting to hear from my agents. Draw it up. Send me a script. Or just pitch it to me in the room.”

Another strong theory is that he wants Jennifer to join the cast of his HBO’s The Last Of Us.

Amid so many rumours swirling around online, the Game of Thrones alumni has broken his silence on the pair’s situation.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Pedro remarked that he and Jennifer were just ‘very good friends’.

“I got to have dinner on Saturday. It was a fun martini dinner,” he said.

When the reporter joked Pedro couldn’t even get a drink without ‘everyone talking about it’, he respectfully replied with an eight-word response.

“That’s her starlight. I’m just basking in it,” he added.

Meanwhile, at The Last Of Us season two red carpet premiere, an Access Hollywood reporter asked the Joel Miller actor if he was ‘trying to convince’ Jennifer on the show.

“Or I go on her show,” he responded. “That wouldn’t be a terrible thing.”

When asked if he would indeed be up for joining The Morning Show cast, Pedro said he would ‘do anything’ for Jennifer.

“She’s that person. She’s that person to everyone,” he continued.

“It’s just that really. I guess the best way that I could describe it is I remember… if you’re in a party setting and you make eye contact with Jen, she just knows exactly what’s going on with you and knows exactly how to make you feel.”

“If you’re really high at a party, make eye contact with Jen Aniston and she’ll calm your central nervous system,” Pedro added.

“You’ll be like, ‘Oh no, everything’s fine. I’m safe.’ As soon as your brain starts to go a little too wild [and] you start to get paranoid, she’ll look at you, get you a glass of water and you’re fine.”

Fans of the pair have been quick to comment on the outlandish relationship rumours, with one saying: “So a guy and a girl can’t be friends? Have to be having some romantic relationship.”

Someone else echoed: “So two celebrities can’t eat dinner without us planning their grandkids now?”

A third responded: “Two people can’t eat without someone talking, damn.”
