Pete Davidson made his first public appearance in over a year after revealing why he had decided to step away from the spotlight.
The star was seen on the red carpet at a gala performance of All In: Comedy About Love By Simon Rich in New York City on Monday (16 December).
It marks his first time being seen publicly since the Transformers: Rise of the Beasts premiere June 2023 after which he decided to take a break from the celeb lifestyle.

The comedian was styled in black trousers, a black shirt and a terracotta leather jacket - while also sporting a new buzzcut.
It was reported that Davidson was spending some time in rehab for his mental health last year, and has been reassessing how he goes about his career from now on.
The 31-year-old, whose dating history includes the likes of Kim Kardashian, Wicked star Ariana Grande, models Emily Ratajkowski and Kaia Gerber, recently said he no longer wanted to be known as a 'loser who just dates people'.

Speaking in a new interview with W Magazine, Davidson shared: "I don’t know if you’ve noticed it, but I’ve been laying low."
He also claimed that his time in show business was 'over', noting very few things that he would step back into the spotlight for.
Davidson explained: "I want to be out there only when it’s movie, stand-up, charity, or business ventures.
"That’s when I want to be seen."

Reflecting on his come-up into the industry, he added: "When you’re first coming up, and getting all these offers, it’s hard to say no, because you’re hungry.
"I made the mistake of doing literally everything."
Having become 'older and wiser', the Saturday Night Live star has realised that 'less is more'.

He said: "Like Christian Bale. He does one movie every two, three years, but you go f*cking see it. Leo[nardo DiCaprio] does one movie every four years, but it’s the biggest thing in the world.
"It’s because you miss them. People have to miss you."
Davidson noted that being the 'loser' who dated celebrities was the only 'loud voice' he heard in his head for a while.
"What do you want to be? Who are you?" he questioned.

Noting how his rough experiences have changed him, Davidson admitted: "It’s actually, in a way, a blessing, because it allowed me to take a step back and evaluate things."
