Robert Irwin, son of the late Steve Irwin, is only 20 years old yet has many strings in his bow.
Known to most for his work as an Australian conservationist, television personality, zookeeper, wildlife photographer and actor, he has amassed a staggering five million followers on Instagram.
Following in the footsteps of his beloved dad, who was a zookeeper and conservationist turned world-famous TV personality due to his show The Crocodile Hunter, a quick glance at Robert’s social media shows he has a deep love for nature and wildlife, one that Steve would surely be proud of.

But the latest addition to Robert’s many talents is one not many saw coming, but has delighted fans.
He made his runway modelling debut on the catwalk of Melbourne Fashion Festival, as part of Suit Up Runway.
He was praised for his energy on the catwalk as he paraded a series of looks including a blue velvet suit, statement yellow sunglasses and a white tuxedo.

Robert flashed a huge smile during his runway debut, which fans loved.
One remarked on Instagram: “Most models have a stern face when walking, but I’m so glad you smiled.”
Another beamed: “Crikey his dad would be absolutely brimming with pride.”

If Robert was at all nervous about this segue into the fashion world, it certainly didn’t show.
He took to Instagram to document his achievement, writing: “Never imagined I’d be walking the runway, but here we are! Wow, thanks for an amazing night Melbourne Fashion Festival!!”
One of the featured designers, Tomba, chimed in to say: “You killed it mate! Thanks for wearing it so well. The show was yours.”

Other featured designers included MJ Bale, Dom Bagnato and Godwin Charli.
As a photographer himself, Robert is no stranger to the camera - while he is usually the one taking the photos, he has also modelled in photoshoots alongside his work out in the wild.
Just last month, he was featured on the cover of The Australian Women’s Weekly, snapped alongside rhinos and koalas.
As for whether or not he will continue to explore working the runway - that remains to be seen.

A commenter told him on Instagram: “Umm what!!! We need to see you on more runways! Like OMG you were born for this” - so maybe he’ll take note.
