Harry Potter star Rupert Grint has surprised fans with the news of the birth of his second child.
The actor best known for his role as Ron Weasley shared a sweet announcement about his baby daughter and fans are over the moon.
“Secret Child Slightly Revealed,” the 35-year-old captioned a photo of his daughter he posted on his Instagram page. “Introducing Goldie G. Grint. A 10/10 baby (so far),” he went on, before kindly thanking their obstetrician, adding: “Thanks again to the amazing Alex Digisu for always delivering.”

He welcomed his first child, a daughter named Wednesday G. Grint, with his partner, Georgia Groome, in May 2020.
The couple’s publicist at the time confirmed the happy news: "Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome are delighted to confirm the birth of their baby girl. We would please ask that you respect their privacy at this very special time."
In November that same year, Grint finally took the plunge and made his own Instagram account. He treated fans to an adorable picture of Wednesday resting on his chest, introducing the world to his daughter and revealing her name.

"Hey Instagram....only 10 years late, but here I am. Grint on the Gram!" he wrote at the time. "Here to introduce you all to Wednesday G. Grint. Stay safe, Rupert."
As expected, the notoriously private couple kept Groome’s second pregnancy a secret, leaving fans shocked by the surprise announcement on Sunday.
“So cute, congratulations Rupert,” one fan commented on Instagram.
“Congratulations Rupert, Georgia and Wednesday!! And welcome Goldie,” another follower gushed.

In 2022, Grint appeared on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon and was discussing fatherhood when he was quizzed over what inspired his eldest daughter's name.
"Great name, by the way, Wednesday!" Fallon said, before asking: "Why Wednesday?"

Grint said: "Well... I mean, I'm always hesitant to say The Addams Family! But yeah, it was kind of The Addams Family.
"Just always loved the name... it's kind of memorable."
His little girl's full name is Wednesday G. Grint, which Fallon brought up to the actor as he revealed that another celebrity actor inspired the middle name.

Grint added: "Samuel L. Jackson kind of inspired that. Yeah we love the idea of, like, an initial like 'Samuel L. Jackson', 'Michael J. Fox', that kind of 'speaking the initials'.
"So she's Wednesday G. Grint."
Grint then went on to discuss fatherhood in more detail during his appearance on the popular US chat show, with him revealing how Wednesday has spent most of her life in America due to him filming his show Servant in Philadelphia.
The proud dad explained: "She does love Philly. She loves hoagies, she loves water ice. And I mean the big one is Target. She is obsessed with Target.
"She'd choose that over going to the park, or zoo. But she loves going to different Targets and seeing how the layout is kind of slightly different."
He added that his daughter doesn't want to go to the US shop for toys, but was interested in a specific item.
Grint said: "Sometimes she doesn't buy anything, she just wants to kind of browse. The toy aisle is definitely a draw, but she's more into lip balm, to be fair."
