Amy Schumer seemingly had a poignant point to make after Ryan Reynolds appeared to crack a joke about Justin Baldoni over the weekend.
Appearing on the 50th anniversary special edition of Saturday Night Live (15 Feb), the actor seemed to be poking fun at wife Blake Lively's ongoing legal battle against Baldoni in a comment that subsequently went viral online.
In the clip, the Hollywood couple could be seen sitting together in the audience, when hosts Amy Poehler and Tina Fey give them a shout out.

Reynolds, 48, then stands, as the comedians exclaim: "Oh, hi, Ryan Reynolds. Ryan Reynolds, how is it going?"
The Deadpool frontman then timidly replies: "Great... why? What have you heard?"
Lively then looks up at him shocked, seemingly confirming the remark was a jibe alluding to recent circumstances.

Back in December, the 37-year-old filed filed a damning legal complaint against her It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni.
In the suit, the Gossip Girl actress alleged that her on-screen love interest had exhibited overly-sexualised behaviour towards her whilst on the set of the Coleen Hoover novel adaptation.
Lively added that Baldoni, 41, later orchestrated a smear campaign against her with the help of several publicists.
Reynolds also appeared in the complaint several times, with the mother-of-four claiming Baldoni would often make inquisitions about their sex life.

Baldoni vehemently denied all allegations made against him, and has since sued Lively himself for defamation and extortion.
After a follow-up video of comedian Amy Schumer chatting to Lively after the star-studded festivities circulated online, many spectators wondered what she had to say on the matter.
According to one lip-reader, however, Schumer, 43, focused entirely on how her gal pal felt after the remark.
Speaking to the Mail, Nicola Hickling claims she believes Lively told Schumer following a long embrace: "I need this hug so much."

She believes the actress added, 'God help me', before looking at Reynolds in the distance.
Schumer supposedly reassured her afterwards, telling Lively: "You’re gonna be OK."
Hickling believes Lively then replies: "That’s perfect, thank you for being there."

Seemingly discussing the controversy the joke caused, Schumer then supposedly went on to say: "They are projecting onto him."
When the joke was first made over the weekend, viewers were divided as to whether Lively was in the know with regards to her husband's plans.
Sharing a photo on X of the actress' face before and after the remark, one viewer jibed: "Blake Lively’s expression here says it all."
They added: "That did not seem like a planned expression."
After the clip was later shared on Instagram, another viewer claimed: "Blake’s face said that she didn’t know that joke was happening."
"Wait I hope Blake was acting.." a third admitted.
"Blake seen a ghost for a second lol," another joked.

"You know they had a fight in the car on the way home," a fifth continued.
Others are convinced, however, that Lively's response was perfectly-timed, and believe there's simply no way the married two didn't orchestrate the controversial attempt at humour together.
"It’s a skit. She’s an actress," one defended her online.
Another hit back at comments, adding: "It’s called good acting genius. Would be s**tty acting if you can tell it was planned."
Tyla contacted Lively and Schumer's representatives for comment.
