Sabrina Carpenter has made a pretty sad dating comment following her alleged split from Barry Keoghan.
As fans will know, the 25-year-old 'Espresso' singer and Barry, 32, were romantically linked for months before finally confirming the status of their relationship with a soft launch at the Oscars in March, when he was spotted wearing an adorable bracelet with 'Sabrina' written on it in beads.
And then, when the pair attended the Met Gala together in May, fans were sent into a right frenzy when they were seen kissing for the first time.

Things only intensified from there when Sabrina released the track 'Please Please Please', which featured the Irish actor in the video.
Fans enjoyed a several other cutesy couple moments between the pair, but it would appear as if they decided to call it quits in the end, prompting fans to speculate whether or not Barry had cheated on the 'Taste' star - something neither party has publicly confirmed.
Earlier this week on Tuesday (17 December), Sabrina rocked up to singer Jack Antonoff's annual The Ally Coalition talent show event at the NYU Skirball Theatre.

She surprised fans with their song together, 'Slim Pickins', and shared that she and Jack found inspiration for the song from the saying 'there’s plenty of fish in the sea'.
However, it's clear Sabrina doesn't quite agree with the sentiment these days, as she told the crowd that the expression is a 'big fat lie, I think'.
Her remark comes weeks after a source confirmed to Us Weekly that she and Barry parted ways after nearly one year of dating due to their schedules 'not aligning'.

"It’s been challenging for their relationship since she started going on tour and has been gone a lot," the source said at the time.
"Their schedules were not aligning. All the time spent apart it was hard to maintain a relationship amid her career exploding."
And then, earlier this month (7 December), Barry took to social media himself to share a statement following the reported split amidst the rumoured cheating allegations.

He wrote on X: "I can only sit and take so much. My name has been dragged across the internet in ways I usually don't respond too.
"I have to respond now because it's gettin [sic] to a place where there are too many lines being crossed. I deactivated my account because I can no longer let this stuff distract from my family and my work."
Barry continued: "The messages I have received no person should ever have to read them. Absolute lies, hatred, disgusting commentary about my appearance, character, how I am as a parent and every other inhumane thing you can imagine.
"Dragging my character and everything I worked extremely hard for and stand for. Talking about how I was a heroine baby and how I grew up and dragging my dear mother into it also.

"Knocking on my grannies door. Sitting outside my baby boy's house intimidating them. That's crossing a line."
Barry shared: "Each and every day I work harder to push myself on every level to be the healthiest and strongest person for that boy. I want to provide opportunities for him to learn, fail and grow. I want him to be able to look up to his daddy, to have full trust in me and know I will have his back no matter what.
"I need you to remember he has to read ALL of this about his father when he is older. Please be respectful to all Thank u x."
The Saltburn star captioned the post: "Please be respectful x."
