In a world filled with bitter celebrity divorces and cruel custody cases, Scarlett Johansson has proven that it is possible to remain on good terms with an ex.
In fact, despite only having been married for two years - the shortest of her trio of high-profile weddings - Scarlett apparently has nothing but good things to say about fellow actor Ryan Reynolds, from whom she divorced in 2011.
The silver-screen couple met back in 2008 before going on to tie the knot just four months later in a chic British Columbian ceremony.

Tragically, however, their marriage was short-lived and by December 2010, the couple announced the sad news that they were going their separate ways in a joint statement, claiming the split was decided upon with 'love and kindness'.
In 2011, they officially divorced and since then, the pair have both gone on to remarry, with Ryan wedding and welcoming four children with Gossip Girl actress Blake Lively.
Scarlett went on to remarry French advertising agency owner Romain Dauriac - with whom she welcomed a daughter, born in 2017, before they divorced, and she wed and welcomed a son with Saturday Night Live co-head writer Colin Jost.

If you had no idea that the Black Widow actress had married three different men, don't worry.
In fact, her close friend Gwyneth Paltrow also forgot, as they caught up during a podcast last year.
Scarlett, 39, opened up about her marriage while appearing on Gwyneth's Goop podcast in April 2023.

Gwyneth, 51, asked: “You’ve been married two times?” to which the Avengers: Endgame star clarified: “Three times.”
The Iron Man star then exclaimed: “Oh that’s right, because I forgot that you were married to Ryan Reynolds!"
Adding: "Goals!”
"Yes," Scarlett laughed in response. "We weren't married very long, but we were when I first met you, for Iron Man [2] or whatever."

Gwyneth gushed: “We love a good Ryan Reynolds in our house," to which Scarlett said: “He’s a good guy.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Gwyneth asked Scarlett about what she’s learned from her previous relationships, to which she answered: “It’s funny. I knew Colin for a long time, but only kind of through work.
"And when we first started seeing other, I would never have probably been ready for a relationship like the one that I have with Colin at different times in my life because I wasn't comfortable with setting my own boundaries, and I didn't know what I wanted or needed from somebody else."
