Sofia Vergara reveals one thing that made her self-conscious when filming sex scene for Netflix series
The Griselda actress lifted the lid on one of her biggest insecurities
It can be hard to imagine that a globally-renowned celebrity bombshell like Sofia Vergara could possible have any features that knock her confidence.
But apparently, the Modern Family star is much more relatable than people give her credit, as she was applauded this week for lifting the lid on her anxiety when filming a sex scene for her latest Netflix gig.
For those unfamiliar with the popular work we're referencing, we, of course, mean Griselda - a brilliant six-part crime-drama series about Miami's drug empire, with 51-year-old Sofia having bagged the titular role.

After landing on the streaming service earlier this year, the gritty show received mass praise from viewers, many of whom took note of Sofia's unrecognisable transformation for the role.
Speaking previously to press of her make-over, the actor and mother-of-two revealed her teeth, eyebrows, hairline and nose were all altered with prosthetics.
Alongside this, Sofia's skin tone and complexion were also modified.
"I was trying to change as much as I could without looking like I was in a Halloween costume," she added.
The leading lady also wore clothes to 'minimise' certain body features, and she even switched up her posture to mimic the real-life Griselda's shorter height.
Despite having undergone such a drastic physical transformation for the show, however, Sofia has this week revealed that she still felt anxiety about filming one particular scene, in which Griselda was seen to be having sex.
Confirming that this was the first time one of her characters was seen becoming intimate on screen, she told The US Sun: "I'm 50! I mean, when I was 30, I wouldn't have worried. I think I was worried that I was going to look horrific."
The Colombian-born favourite added that she was also concerned what angle they'd shoot the saucy scene from, afraid it would highlight one of her biggest insecurities.
"I was like, 'Where are they shooting me? The cellulite? From the side,'" she confessed. "Uh, I'm vain I guess. That one kept me awake I think."
Despite her initial apprehension, however, Sofia says she's glad that the team supported her in the raunchy moment.
"It's really dark and Andy [Baiz], the director, is very artistic and he made me feel super comfortable and he's like, ‘We're never going to stay like a long time on you [the camera]," she said.
This isn't the first time that the Modern Family actress - famed for playing fiery mother-of-two Gloria Pritchett on the show - has been honest about some of her insecurities.
Just last week, the actress opened up about her surgery plans, revealing she'll do all she can to prevent the signs of ageing.
Speaking to Allure, she confessed to shouting 'f**k you!' at the TV when it plays her sitcom episodes out of chronological order.
"Something that I hate is when I am watching sometimes an episode of Modern Family, and they don't come in order," she teased.
"They put one from the first season when I was 37 and then the one 10 years later right after."
And when it comes to her plans to tackle aging, Sofia claimed she doesn't plan on shying away from going under the knife for a permanent procedure.
"I feel like I'm going to do every plastic surgery that I can do when I'm ready. I wish I had more downtime; I would've done stuff already," she told the publication.
"[But] because I'm in front of the camera, it's not like I can do something and then sit in my house recuperating for weeks."
