Stephen Fry has opened up about the reason he's rarely seen out and about with his husband.
The 67-year-old Jeopardy! host tied the knot with Elliott Spencer, 37, back in 2015 after first meeting three years prior in 2012 at a mutual friend's party.
On Saturday (22 March), Fry opened up about his relationship on The Jonathan Ross Show - alongside fellow celebs Aimee Lou Wood, Joanne McNally, Big Zuu and Yungblud - where he revealed what he told his agent who asked him what he did when he wasn't in front of the camera or preparing to do so.

Quite simply, the award-winning author explained that if he isn't out partying with his hubby then he's not going to be pictured out partying.
"I was on The Morning Show [in the US]. I had dinner with my American agent, he said, 'What do you do when you're not called on set?' and I said, 'My husband and I, we don't go to Hollywood parties much, we have an early supper, watch Jeopardy! go to bed…'" Fry shared.
The couple don't tend to make many public appearances but they do occasionally step out onto a red carpet together.

Earlier this year in January, however, Fry did take to social media to gush over Spencer following their 10-year anniversary.
"Ten happy years to the day since we were joined in marriage. I’m a lucky man," Fry wrote on Instagram at the time.

Speaking on the TV programme, Fry revealed it was love at first sight with Spencer.

"We met at a friend’s house and I knew pretty much straight away that this was someone I wanted to spend, what I considered, the rest of my life with," he said.
The pair went on to get married in an intimate ceremony in Dereham, Norfolk, just a matter of weeks after Fry proposed to Spencer.
Fry, who was diagnosed with bipolar disorder at age 37, previously opened up about how his husband 'saved his life'.
Speaking in a 2016 interview with The Sun, he shared: "I think just the happiness and security and calm of being with him. I am in a great place right now.

"My physiologist Billy has been astonishing and the medication has also saved my life after finally getting it right."
Fry was knighted in the 2025 New Year Honours and was recognised for his services to mental health awareness, the environment and charity.
