The sad news broke earlier this morning that Strictly Come Dancing star Robin Windsor has passed away aged 44.
Many tributes have since flooded in for the late dancer, including one from his boyfriend, X Factor finalist, Marcus Collins, who has taken to Instagram to share an emotional statement of his own.
Announcing the news of his tragic death today (20 February), a statement on the official page of the dance company Robin founded, Burn the Floor, reads: "The Burn the Floor family has lost one of its founding members, Robin 'Bobby' Windsor - who has tragically passed away."
The statement continued: "A BTF journeyman he danced with us for twenty years - including Broadway, The West End and all our crazy adventures around the world.

"His stunning image attached with Jessica Raffa defined our company, colourful, extreme and sensual. His talent, attitude, energy and personality helped create the Burn the Floor stage reputation.
"He leaves a void in our hearts that will never be filled, yet our wonderful memories will stay forever.”
Marcus, who had been in an 18-month relationship with Robin after finding love on Twitter, has also shared a statement on the heartbreaking news.
The singer shared a series of three snaps to his 67.9k followers on Instagram along with the touching caption: "The World just got a lot less sparkly. Robin You were so loved."

Dozens of fans have since rushed in to share their condolences with the X Factor finalist with one writing: "Heartbreakingly sad news, thoughts are with you Marcus."
A second offered: "Am so sorry to hear this sad news, we are all shocked and my heart is beating so fast for him as he was such a stunning man with beautiful personality. You both were beautiful couple too."
"So sorry for your loss. Thoughts are with you," penned a third while a fourth chimed in: "Thinking of you. This was such a shock to wake up to this morning. Big hugs."

A final Instagram user added: "Heartbreaking news... so sorry to hear."
Other tributes included fellow Strictly professional James Jordan, who posted on X: "I had the pleasure of working with this man for many years on Strictly. Everyone who came in contact with him adored him, from his celebrity partners to his working colleagues. You will be missed old friend."
Meanwhile, presenter Ellie Phillips wrote: "Such a warm, talented, gorgeous human. He really was genuinely lovely, funny & kind. This is a real loss."

And Good Morning Britain host Susanna Reid held back tears live on air as she announced the tragic passing of her former Strictly dance partner.
