Jones went on to confirm that no 'further details' surrounding The Vivienne's death will be released at this time in a bid to ensure their 'family are given the time and privacy to process and grieve'.

In a follow-up post captioned 'goodbye my beautiful friend', he further wrote: "No one has ever made me laugh in my life as much as Viv did. Their comic genius and quick wit was like no other.

"I’m so proud and lucky that Viv was such a big part of my life every day for the last five years."

He continued: "It’s tragic that their career was only just beginning. In musical theatre Viv had found a space and career they loved, excelled and thrived in.

"I am heartbroken and devastated at this news. RIP my wonderful friend, You left us way too soon."

Three days prior, The Vivienne shared a post on Instagram, encouraging their fans to donate to a Liverpool-based charitable organisation called SAHIR - the largest and oldest LGBTQ+ and HIV charity in Merseyside.

"Join me in giving back this year, everything I do charitable wise is usually for @sahirhouse house, Liverpools oldest LGBT+ charity!!!" they wrote in the caption.

"The work they do is incredible, thank you. £1 a month you won't miss it."

Following her Drag Race UK win, The Vivienne participated in an charity racing competition web series in collaboration with Attitude - the UK and Europe's biggest-selling LGBTQ magazine.

Again, they took part on behalf of SAHIR, which provides spaces for LGBTQ+ people to speak freely about abuse, stigma and exploitation, as well as their experiences of HIV.

And in 2022, alongside three other former Drag Race UK winners Lawrence Chaney and Krystal Versace, The Vivienne joined Ant and Dec for an epic 'End of the Show Show', which saw the group transforming the Geordie duo into drag characters - Lady Antoinette and Donna Lee.
