You don’t have to be an NFL fan to get excited about the Super Bowl this year, thanks to the star power of Travis Kelce and his A-list girlfriend Taylor Swift.
Fans were gutted when Kelce didn’t show up to the Grammys, where Swift was seen partying it up with all of her celeb pals, while also taking to the stage to present Beyoncé with her Best Country Album gong.
Swift was without her sportsman beau, who is often seen by her side at high-profile events, meaning she was instead seen sitting next to Wicked actor Cynthia Erivo, and star of The Substance Margaret Qualley.

But Kelce had previously warned Swifties that he’d be absent from the star-studded do due to his busy American football schedule – and that small matter of the Super Bowl.
Thankfully, it looks like Swift will be making an appearance as the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Philadelphia Eagles this weekend.
If the Chiefs are victorious, they'll become the first team to win three Super Bowls in a row, having beaten the San Francisco 49er last year, and the Eagles back in 2023.

And it seemed only inevitable that people would wonder if this might mark Kelce’s historic moment to drop down on one knee.
In fact, they’re so keen to know, that the question was put to him by the media at Super Bowl's opening night event.
"A Super Bowl ring?” he clarified, before bluntly shutting the topic down with a two-word reply: “Next question."
He also addressed any concerns that he’d be retiring from the NFL, admitting it had crossed his mind.

"I've thought about it, but I still love what I do,” he told press.
“I love coming into work every day.
"It's moments like these, weeks like these, the month that we just had in the playoffs that make me feel like I could play this game forever.

"I feel like I still have a lot of good football left in me. We'll see what happens. I know I've been setting myself up for other opportunities in my life.
"That's always been the goal knowing football only lasts for so long."
As for where he sees himself in three years’ time, Kelce added: "Hopefully still playing football. I plan on being a Kansas City Chief and playing football."
Only time will tell if that’s ‘still playing football’ but as a married man...
