Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend Maya Benberry gave Taylor Swift a dire, six-word warning after she first learned the pair had struck up a relationship amid the singer's Eras Tour.
In 2016, Maya, now 33, competed on and came out of the dating reality TV show, Chasing Kelce, as the victor.
The seven-episode programme saw Travis, now 35, picking from a pool of 50 women from each state in the US with the hopes of finding ‘the one’.
Kentucky native Maya was elected at the end of the programme to become the girlfriend of the then-newly signed Kansas City Chiefs tight end.

But their relationship was short-lived, with the couple calling it quits shortly after the TV show concluded. A second series was never commissioned.

Upon learning that her ex-boyfriend was dating 35-year-old Taylor Swift - whom he is now engaged to - Maya accused him of cheating on her.

In a statement to the Daily Mail, she claimed that she believed the ‘Bad Blood’ singer was a ‘fun girl with a beautiful spirit’.
“So I wish her the best of luck, but I wouldn’t be a girls’ girl if I didn’t advise her to be smart!,” she continued.
“I’m sure by now she has mastered the ability to see who is really there for her and who is just using her.
“I can only hope that she comes out the teacher in this situation and not the student. Only time will tell, but like the saying always goes, once a cheater, always a cheater.”

In the wake of the accusation, an alleged source close to Travis told TMZ that he’d only been romantically linked to Maya for a month after Chasing Kelce.
Moreover, the claims were refuted as nothing more than a ‘a poor excuse of someone trying to get her 15 minutes of fame.’
In a statement to Page Six, an insider further alleged the pair were not together long enough for the American Football icon to be unfaithful to her.

They added: “They dated literally less than three months, and they were contractually obligated to not announce their breakup.
“When she says, ‘Once a cheater, always a cheater,’ she doesn’t even know what she’s talking about. This is very much a 15-minutes-of-fame type of a moment for her.”
Travis accused of cheating on Kayla Nicole in 2020
Travis was subjected to infidelity rumours in 2020 when he and his former girlfriend, Kayla Nicole, now 33, briefly split.

Immediately shutting down speculation, the Ohio native said: “This is fake news... a lie... and not why Kayla and I broke up... take all your hatred somewhere else please.”
It was later alleged that the couple split for good in 2022 due to Travis making Kayla pay for ‘half of everything’ and being ‘cheap’, as reported by People.
Travis also shut this rumour down, appearing on The Pivot Podcast to say: "You've got to be crazy if you'd think I would never help or gave her a couple thousand to grab some food or she gave me some money to go get some food.... we were in a relationship for five years.
“A hundred dollars here, a hundred dollars there wasn't even thought about.”
Nicole also disputed the claims saying: "Do I look like anybody that would split anything?" she asked on the Unapologetically Angel podcast, calling the rumour 'ridiculous'.
"He addressed that too, though. I don’t even know why that even became a thing.
"That was never an issue in our relationship but it was definitely a rumour on the internet."
Kayla Nicole’s true feelings on Taylor Swift
Earlier this year, Kayla used her appearance on Fox’s Special Forces: The World’s Toughest Test to reveal how difficult it had been going through such a public breakup.
"Going through a public breakup, just to be frank, is overwhelming.
"I’ve never experienced anything like it. Being reduced to a headline - to something so small as someone’s ex-girlfriend - I feel like if I complete this, it will be a massive impact for myself."
She also claimed she gets ‘a lot of sh*t online because he’s dating such a mega superstar.’
However, there appears to be no bad blood between Kayla and Taylor, with the latter adding: “I really like, like, her. I think she’s very talented.”
