There have been many celebrities that have appeared to have left the US, and it's all happened in the same month the country has undergone a pretty huge change.
Celebrities including talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi have joined stars such as Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria and Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner in moving away from the US.
The US has undergone some pretty major changes over the last year, but undoubtedly the biggest change is that of a new president, as Donald Trump won the 2024 US election, meaning he will become America's 47th president in January 2025.

The presidential election between Trump and Kamala Harris was one that many Americans felt strongly about, and many Americans felt lost and disappointed after it became clear that the businessman would serve his second term.
Actress Eva Longoria has left the US and now chooses to split her time between Spain and Mexico. In an interview with Marie Claire, she explained: "If he keeps his promises, it’s going to be a scary place."
She added: "I’m privileged. I get to escape and go somewhere. Most Americans aren’t so lucky. They’re going to be stuck in this dystopian country, and my anxiety and sadness is for them."

However she did reveal this week to TV show The View that her move wasn't purely down to Trump as she told host Ana Navarro: "Will you please let them know I didn't move out of the United States because of Trump?"
Longoria added: "I've been in Europe for almost three years. By the way, the article says that. People just grabbed some clickbait stuff to be divisive, which makes me so sad, you know.
"Everything you say is just meant to be divisive when we can't be that way right now."

Actress Sophie Turner returned to the UK where she is from, following her split from ex husband Joe Jonas, and it appears she was moving to get out of the country fast as she expressed fear of US gun violence and because women were losing their rights.
Also now setting up life in the UK is former talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, who has now vowed to 'never return' to the US, alongside wife Portia de Rossi and their children.
An anonymous source close to the couple told The Wrap that they have now settled in the Cotswolds and have no intention of heading back to America, especially not whilst Trump remains in charge.

Yet, DeGeneres' move out of the US might not be down to purely politics and women's rights, which have been heavily protested and debated since Trump came in.
In DeGeneres' recent Netflix comedy special, she joked: "I got kicked out of show business."
Another celebrity reportedly eyeing up the UK as a potential movie is Barbie actress America Ferrera, as she is reportedly looking for schools in London for her children.

With Trump set to become president in only a matter of weeks, it remains to be seen who else will quit the US and move elsewhere.
