According to The Independent, the 32-year-old - whose real name is James Kennedy Georgiou - was subsequently taken into custody after a supposed witness called 911 to report that Kennedy had become embroiled in a physical dispute with an unidentified woman earlier that day.
A spokesperson from the force told press: "On December 10, 2024, at about 11:30 p.m., Burbank Police were dispatched to a residence regarding an argument between a man and a woman. The investigation determined it was a domestic incident, leading to Mr. Georgiou’s arrest."
"Mr. Georgiou was booked for misdemeanour domestic violence and later posted bail. Formal charges are pending review by the Burbank City Attorney’s office."
Witnesses also told the publication that they'd witnessed Kennedy grab the unknown during the fiery confrontation, which prompted the arrest.

He's since been released on a $20,000 bail.
Now, Kennedy's partner Ally Lewber - whom he's been with since 2002 - has spoken out.
Though it's not yet clear as to whether Lewber was with the reality star at the time of the supposed incident - or if she is the alleged victim - she has since continued singing his praises in passionate statements of love.

Speaking to the Daily Mail - following the Windsor Pre-New Year's Eve party she hosted in Los Angeles the day after Kennedy's arrest - she gushed over how pleased she was to see how far her partner had come since quitting the show.
"We all knew James in the beginning, you know where he was, which was a busser (waiter), and he's worked his way to get to where he is now and I know he's proud of himself," she said.
Lewber added: "I'm proud of him."
This isn't the first time that the couple have endured a bump in the road, with Lewber telling her boyfriend in a 2023 episode of the hit series that she preferred him when he's 'not drinking'.

"But I'm not gonna tell you (not to)," she told him at the time.
Kennedy later insisted he wanted to quit the booze for good, admitting that drinking had affected his relationship.
"I don't think I will ever drink again," he explained. "Ally definitely didn't give me an ultimatum this time. This is 100 per cent my decision.
"Technically I am still California sober. It just makes my day better."
