Every celeb and notable person spotted at Donald Trump's inauguration events

A star-studded line-up of athletes, musicians, actors, podcasters, comedians and online stars attended the events

It was hardly a surprise to see fellow politicians, world leaders and tech bosses in attendance at 47th US president Donald Trump's inauguration this week.

What did shock many viewers watching from home, however, was how many celebs also part-took in the proceedings in some way, with the guest list having included a much-loved Hollywood actor, a heavyweight boxing world champion and even 16-time Grammy-nominated rapper.

Let's look back at the famous faces we spotted during inauguration events on Monday (20 January)...

Musicians

As has been the case for decades, 78-year-old Trump's inauguration was closely followed by a star-studded string of musical performances, many of which were live from the Liberty Ball.

Country music star Carrie Underwood - who previously faced mass backlash following her supposed 'support' of the politician - performed 'America The Beautiful' (A capella, following a technical blunder) after Trump was sworn in.

Opera singer Christopher Macchio also performed the American national anthem ahead of the address.

Later that day, the likes of Billy Ray Cyrus, Nelly, Kid Rock, Rascal Flatts, Jason Aldean, and the Village People performed some of their best-known chart-toppers.

Lee Greenwood also took to the stage to join the festivities as well as Gavin DeGraw and even Snoop Dogg.

While it's somewhat rare nowadays for high-profile stars to profess their political preferences out loud - especially when it comes to the new conservative administration - it seems some celebs weren't shy about showing their support for Trump this week.

Among them were social media stars and boxers Jake and Logan Paul who were seen posing for selfies ahead of the Capitol Rotunda ceremony alongside Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI.

Several big-name podcasters were also in attendance, including Joe Rogan and Theo Von.

In addition, The Break-Up actor Vince Vaughn and former Fox News host Tucker Carlson were seen at the events.

Sport

From the world of sport, former professional boxer Mike Tyson attended the inauguration and was later filmed on the shoulders of his previous opponent in the ring, Jake Paul.

Also representing boxing was former undisputed champion Evander Holyfield, along with UFC front-man Dana White and Irish boxer Conor McGregor.

Other high-profile personalities...

As we say, Trump has managed to make several connections in high places - especially when it comes to the realms of technology.

By now, we already know that X boss and Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, has served somewhat as his right-hand man, with Trump having hired him as co-lead of the Department of Government Efficiency.

Amazon owner Jeff Bezos was also one of the Capitol Rotunda's attendees to sit on the first few rows, along with his broadcaster fiancée Laura Sánchez.

The couple were also sat beside Facebook and Meta boss, Mark Zuckerberg, and his wife, Priscilla Chan.

The group were joined by Apple frontman Tim Cook, as well as TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew.

Several former US leaders and their spouses also showed up to mark the commencement of the 47th president's term, including outgoing White House resident Joe Biden and his wife Dr Jill.

Trump's former political opposition and Biden's VP, Kamala Harris, also strolled into the ceremonial hall, following on from Barack Obama - whose wife Michelle was seemingly unable to attend.

George W. and Laura Bush preceded Obama, following on from Bill and Hillary Clinton.

Representing Brits abroad were Reform UK politician Nigel Farage and ex-Prime Minister, Boris Johnson.

Media mogul Rupert Murdoch was also in attendance, along with every member of the US Supreme Court.
