It seems that the floodgates of Zayn Malik's truth telling have well and truly opened.
The chart-topping musician has been making a series of admissions in recent interviews, with the latest being about his connection with exes Perrie Edwards and Gigi Hadid.
Zayn, who was catapulted to fame after being selected as a band member of 'What Makes You Beautiful' hitmakers One Direction, has had two high profile relationships.

The first was with Little Mix member Perrie Edwards, who also found fame on The X Factor.
Zayn met Perrie in 2011. They went public with their relationship in 2012 to the delight of fans, and were engaged by 2013.
Then in a shock twist, they split in 2015.

Perrie claimed that Zayn had ended things by text, but Zayn denied that this was the truth.
In a recent interview with Nylon, Zayn remarked: "From 17 to 21, I was in a relationship.
"I was engaged and [planned to get] married and I didn’t know anything about anything at that point.
"I thought I did, because I was 21. I was legally allowed to do everything, but I didn’t know s**t.”

Shortly before he ended things with Perrie, Zayn left One Direction, citing 'stress'.
He included in a statement at the time: "I am leaving because I want to be a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight."
Shortly after his split with Perrie, Zayn embarked on a relationship with supermodel Gigi Hadid, which resulted in the birth of daughter, Khai.

He reflected: "From 21 to 27, I was with Gi, and we had a kid, and I didn’t really take much time to get to know myself.”
Despite both Perrie and Gigi being major relationships of Zayn's that captured the world's attention, it seems he is questioning them both.
In a heartbreaking admission when taking part in an interview on The Zach Sang Show last week, Zayn said: "I don’t know if I’ve ever actually truly been in love at this point."

Host Zach then made a point about the love Zayn feels about his daughter, Khai.
Zayn added: "I'm in love with her as my child."
Zayn made the distinction between that and being 'in love with somebody who is a complete separate entity.'
"They’re not my family, I have no blood with them, like, I’m in love with this person, you know? I don’t know."
It must have taken a lot to admit that, and we're here for the honesty.
