Awards season is back, and so is the debate over the ceremonies’ coveted gift bags.
The whole of Hollywood is buzzing as we’re nearing some of the most glamorous nights of the entertainment year, and the annual curiosity surrounding some of the awards ceremonies has been reignited as well. Particularly after it was revealed what’s in the Golden Globes goodie bag for 2025.
With the Oscars still a couple of months away, the next big event for Tinseltown are the Globes, the prizes presented to excellence in film and TV by the Golden Globe Foundation, who took over from the now-defunct Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA).

Hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser, the ceremony returns in all its glory and glitz on Sunday (5 January).
And it seems the organisers are willing to splash the cash to put on a big spectacle for those attending and viewers watching at home. Though, let’s be honest, those attending the event at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills will be having most of the fun.
The winners going home with the coveted gilded globe will get to walk away with their new, shiny doorstopper, as well as a goodie bag with up to $1 million dollars in gifts. Yep, you read that right.

The Globes swag FOMO is real. And while the world is up in flames, A-listers will get to smile at the cameras, look fabulous, and be showered with gifts including a five-night stay at a wellness retreat in the Maldives, normally worth $33,800 a pop.

Will at least *some* of these luxury presents be gifted to the stars’ PAs that have been helping them all year round? Here’s hoping.
