A singer who is dying of cancer has released a heartbreaking final song in the hope of raising money for her son.
Cat Janice, 31, was diagnosed with Sarcoma back in 2022, and has since been sharing her journey with followers on TikTok.
She’d found a lump in her neck the year before, but as she’d been getting over Covid at the time – meaning her lymph nodes were ‘really swollen’ - she didn’t think anything of it.

But in one video, titled ‘My hypochondria saved me’, Cat revealed how she grew more worried when the lump hadn’t disappeared.
She said: "Fast-forward to March of 2022... I was studying for an exam and when I'm anxious I kind of rub my neck... and I noticed the lump was still there."
Cat, who lives in Virginia, said the lump did not move or hurt, with no other symptoms other than a ‘constant’ tight knots in her back, just beneath her shoulder blades.

It turned out her tumour was actually in her scalene muscle in her neck.
"Long story short, I ended up with this really random, weird rare tumor,” she said, adding: “I never would have noticed if I hadn't have been anxiously rubbing my neck."
Cat went through radiation and chemotherapy to remove the lump in her neck, but sadly the cancer returned – this time in her lungs – in May 2023.

Earlier this month, she confirmed she was in hospice treatment, having ‘changed all the rights’ of her songs to seven-year-old son, Loren, while also releasing one last hit ‘Dance You Outta My Head’.
“I might not be here but my baby boy will be,” she said.
Her final swan song ended up striking a huge chord with the TikTok community, who sent it to #1 in a number of countries and also turned it into a HUGE, heartwarming trend on the platform:
