Written and created by Mark Marlow, Cleaning Up is a six-part series that stars Sheridan Smith as Sam Cook, a single mother and an office cleaner for Xenco Clean who resorts to insider trading to help sort out her money struggles.
Sam, who is drowning in debt as well as being addicted to gambling, is battling her ex-husband who's trying to get full-time custody of their two daughters.
But after overhearing a stockbroker who is being blackmailed into insider trading, she plunges herself into a seedy world of finance.
