If you fancy a break from the cult classic Christmas favourites like The Holiday and Love Actually then look no further than Netflix this weekend.
A ‘feel-good’ rom-com starring the likes of Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson finally lands on Netflix this Saturday (16 December) and fans excited to sink their teeth into it.
Sure to teleport us straight back to the golden era of cheesy, easy-watching, this one's sure to warm your cockles. Check out the official trailer here:
The flick's official premise reads: "When a popstar's on-stage wedding to her celebrity fiancé implodes, she impulsively picks a high school math teacher in the audience to marry instead."

Based on the 2012 graphic novel by Bobby Crosby of the same title, Marry Me stars Lopez as superstar Kat Valdez who decides to marry Charlie Gilbert (Wilson), a math teacher holding a 'Marry Me' sign, after learning that her on-stage groom, Bastian, played by Colombian singer Maluma, has been having an affair.
Now, while the rom-com will finally land on Netflix this weekend - it first hit cinemas in February of last year and fans who have seen it couldn't wait to share their praise for it.
One social media user penned: "We really really REALLY need more feel-good movies like Marry Me!"

"This is the first trailer in a long time where I'm actually interested in seeing it," echoed a final social media user before asking: "Could we get a renaissance of rom-coms like we had in the early 2000s?"
Now that is definitely something I can get behind.
