Harrowing Netflix crime series on a ‘different level’ leaves terrified viewers reeling from ‘wildest sh*t’ they’ve ever seen

Netflix viewers are all saying the same thing about a jaw-dropping true crime series, with some claiming it’s simply the ‘wildest s**t’ they’ve ever seen.

It’s fair to say that Netflix is one of the go-to platforms to satisfy your craving for an unsettling docuseries.

Currently residing on the platform is the viral sensation Don't F**k With Cats: Hunting An Internet Killer as well as the smash-hit Worst Roommate Ever.

The latter, produced by ITV America and Blumhouse Television, features stories about roommates cohabiting with various evil people who turn their lives into living nightmares.

Following the success of Worst Roommate Ever, a spin-off has just landed on the platform and it’s already topped the TV Programmes Today list.

You can watch the trailer for the nail-biting four-part project, titled Worst Ex Ever, below:

Worst Ex Ever landed on Netflix on Wednesday (August 28) and works to chronicle the abuse dealt to various men and women by their former flames.

“The end of their relationship marked the start of a nightmare,” reads an official synopsis.

“This docuseries examines the dark truths lurking within seemingly loving partners.”

The first episode of Worst Ex Ever is titled 'Dating the Devil' and centres on a woman named Justine Siemens and serial abuser Benjamin Foster, who left her with a traumatic brain injury.

'Betrayed by the Badge' documents Seemona Sumasar’s struggles with ex-Jerry Ramrattan while 'Killing for Custody' documents how Eric Hill’s family was put in grave danger by his ex-wife Rosa.

The fourth and final instalment, 'Married to a Monster', explores Amanda’s violent relationship with eventual murderer Kevin Lewis.

Despite only debuting on the streaming service earlier this week, tonnes of true crime aficionados have already binged the offering.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter to have their say, one fan typed: “#WorstExEver is hitting harder than Worst Roommate Ever does. The police just continually failing their citizens and consistently blaming the victim. That first episode was absolutely horrifying.”

Worst Ex Ever just gave me so much confirmation on why I will probably never date again. There’s so much safety in solitude,” commented another.

A third viewer wrote: “Worst Ex Ever episode 2 on Netflix is the wildest s**t I’ve seen in a minute.”

“Well being single didn’t seem so bad no more #WorstExEver,” a fourth user said.

“Lol yea the series Worst Ex Ever? Different level fr,” penned another.

All four episodes of Worst Ex Ever are available to stream on Netflix now.
