During the Netflix is A Joke festival in Los Angeles earlier this month, Kim Kardashian was relentlessly roasted and met with unrelenting boos - and now Nikki Glaser has weighed in on why.
During The Greatest Roast of All Time: The Roast of Tom Brady on 5 May, the reality TV star and Skims founder took to the stage to tell some jokes of her own.
It turned out she was unable to get her joke out before being loudly booed.

"I know a lot of people make fun of your height," she told host Kevin Hart, before having to say 'alright, alright, alright' in a bid to get the crowd to stop.
Hart then interjected with a ''Woah, woah." Take a look:
Eventually, the boos stopped and Kim was able to try and land some of her jokes.

Poking fun at her dating history and rumours she'd dated Tom Brady, Kim quipped: "I know there were some rumours that we were, and I’d never say if we did or not.
"I’d just release a tape."
Tom Brady then took to the stage himself and took aim at Kim.
He said: "Thank you so much for being here," he told her. "I know Kim was terrified to be here tonight.

"Not because of this, but because her kids are home with their dad."
Kim shook her head in disapproval, but despite the jokes making the rounds on social media, people were unable to shake off the extremely loud and long lasting booing directed at Kim.
Now, comedian Nikki Glaser, who was also present at the roast, has set the record straight on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast.

She shared that while she originally thought the boos were from Taylor Swift fans following on from their long-standing beef, she soon realised it was spurred on by someone with 'a reputation for starting s**t'.
During the episode that was released yesterday (21 May), Nikki said: "Apparently, he started the boo as just like a joke.
"He probably had too many drinks or something. He's not affiliated with Swifties or anything—just felt like saying a boo into the air."

While she refrained from naming the man, she noted that he's a 'wild guy'.
She reiterated: "It just kinda caught wind, but it wasn't Swiftie-mediated. I do have that on good information that it was not based on that."
She shared that the crowd probably just joined in because they were 'sports fans wanting to have some sort of release to boo', and it 'just caught on too much'.
It seems not everyone appreciated Kim's frosty reception - with Netflix editing out the boos following the live taping.
Viewers that watch the roast on the streaming platform will see it directly cut to her first joke.
