Whether you've got little ones (or not-so-little ones) eager to know or you just want to keep track of the big man yourself, you can track Santa as he makes his way around the world.
Are you on the naughty or nice list?
While you wait to find out which one you're on you can keep an eye on Father Christmas, his reindeer and his sleigh, all thanks to a handy festive tracker.

Technology has given us many things, and now you have a way of tracking Santa to his exact location as he brings your presents to your house in time for you to enjoy your turkey and the King's Speech.
Gone are the days of anxiously waiting by the fireplace to see if he arrives down the chimney (or through the door with that magic key he has, of course), as now you can see with your own eyes where he's up to.
Time to get those mince pies and cookies ready to leave out (and not forgetting carrots for the reindeer).

The tracker is brought to you by NORAD, which stands for the North American Aerospace Defense Command.
The kind folks at NORAD first began tracking the man in the big red suit back in 1955.
A child called the team by mistake, after seeing a newspaper advert which said kids could call Santa Claus.
Santa has been on his way for quite a while now, setting off at 9am GMT, which is 11pm for the first time zone he reaches.

The people living in Kiribati are the first to experience the delights of Christmas and receive their gifts from Santa first, thanks to the time difference.
They say you learn something new every day, and today we found out that Santa's sleigh measures an impressive 75 candy canes long, 40 wide, and 55 high.
At the start of the night it weighs in at 75,000 gumdrops, but will weigh in with an extra 5,000 gumdrops by the end of the night due to picking up extra ice and snow while Santa is out delivering gifts.
If you thought you had a lot of stuff to pack into the car boot before travelling to see loved ones, spare a thought for Santa with the weight of all those gifts.

The presents weigh in at a whopping 60,000 tonnes, but (whisper it) Father Christmas himself tips the scales at 260lbs.
There might be a few more after all of the cookies and mince pies that are left out for him around the world too - with some claiming he'll gain almost 1,000lbs in one night!
He apparently stands at 5'7, too.

With so many families to visit in a night, just how fast can he travel?
According to NORAD, the sleigh travels 'faster than starlight', which makes it pretty fast.
If you're a night owl and like to stay up until the early hours, as the rhyme promises, he knows when you are sleeping and also knows when you're awake.
If you're yet to doze off, he'll simply go to the next house where someone is sleeping and deliver their presents until you nod off.
The tracker appears to show that he delivers between 9.00pm and midnight.
On the tracker you can also see where Santa is heading next, and just how many presents have been delivered so far.
He deserves a good rest after all of this!
