Despite setting the plan into motion, Daniel still felt held back by a deep-rooted fear.
He opened up about being scared of driving after experiencing a car accident in 2022, and explained driving would be essential for the move to Australia.
Sue told the camera about the devastating accident: "We were actually in America when we found out about this and Daniel had text Noel [her husband] to say 'Is Mum with you?' I think he was more worried about my reaction than how he was because he knew we would be really worried about him."

She added: "Daniel was always a really confident person, he was a confident driver but since this accident, I think his confidence with driving has really taken a knock because he's not wanted to drive another car."
Daniel added that it was the 'scariest thing [he'd] ever been through'.
Despite his fears, the episode showed Daniel eventually working up the courage to get back behind the wheel because his Australian dream is important to him.

Elsewhere in the episode, daughter Aimee shared her dreams of opening up a hairdressing salon where there's no expectation to speak to the clients.
She said: "I just don't like conversation in general really."
People were over the moon with the concept.
