Production house A24 is set to release a brand-new erotic thriller early doors next year starring Nicole Kidman and Harris Dickinson, and it looks like we're in for some very X-rated scenes.
The film, directed by Halina Reijn, follows a high-powered CEO named Romy who puts her career and family on the line when she begins a heated affair with a much younger intern, Samuel.
Naturally, given the plot, viewers can look forward to a bunch of sex scenes in the flick and Dickinson has already addressed why shooting them was so 'embarrassing' following Kidman's remarks that they were so powerful she 'didn't want to orgasm anymore'.

Now, opening up about filming the more adult scenes, Kidman told Vanity Fair: "I’ve made some films that are pretty exposing, but not like this.
"This leaves me exposed and vulnerable and frightened when it’s given to the world. I was like, ‘I hope my hand’s not shaking’.
"It’s like, ‘Golly, I’m doing this, and it’s going to be seen by the world’. That’s a very weird feeling. This is something you do and hide in your home videos.

“It is not a thing that normally is going to be seen by the world. I felt very exposed as an actor, as a woman, as a human.”
Kidman also explained that during the intimate scenes, she almost felt 'burnt out'.

"There was an enormous amount of sharing and trust and then frustration," she told The Sun.

“It’s like, ‘Don’t touch me’. There were times when we were shooting where I was like, ‘I don’t want to orgasm any more'.
“Don’t come near me. I hate doing this. I don’t care if I am never touched again in my life!
“I’m over it. It was so present all the time for me that it was almost like a burnout.”
And now, Dickinson has also opened up about the more X-rated scenes - one which saw him almost naked and dancing to 'Father Figure' by George Michael.

Explaining to Variety he had no prior dance rehearsals before shooting, the actor revealed: "That was just me moving.
"Halina put the song and said, 'Just dance'. So I just had a little groove. Maybe I had a little whiskey before. But it was embarrassing."
Clearly starstruck by Kidman, Dickinson also confessed he was 'pinching' himself at the fact he got to star alongside her in the flick.

"Subtly, I kept asking her things like, 'What was it like working with Stanley Kubrick?’ I was there always like poking at the fact that she is this monolithic figure in cinema'."
He also revealed that Kidman was the 'most comforting, warm performer to work across from'.
"She sets the tone on set, and she makes it so easy to be vulnerable and to be funny, because she is so daring. She’s so brave, and she does stuff, and you’re like, 'What the f*ck is that?' You can’t even think of it," Dickinson gushed.
"And she’s just got this innate sense of playfulness," he added. "And when you have that on set, everything’s so easy."
Babygirl will be available to watch in selected cinemas from January 2025.
