EastEnders viewers reckon they’ve worked out how Whitney Dean will exit the soap in a huge twist.
Shona McGarty, who plays Whitney on the long-running BBC soap, previously announced her departure from the show last year and fans have been tirelessly trying to work out when her big exit will be.
Last night's episode (28 March) saw Whitney being questioned by her best pal, Lauren Branning, after she found out that Whitney had paid off Britney's mum to informally adopt her.

Whitney had her mind set on speeding up the lengthy formal adoption process so took it upon herself to pay Britney's mother to take her off her hands.
The episode, as per, was jam-packed with it's usual dose of drama, chaos and bombshell revelations but it seems viewers can't shake the theory that a huge twist is impending.
One fan speculated: "Maybe this will be Whitney’s exit? She does go to prison for taking Britney like Lauren says, perhaps Britney’s mum makes it out to be worse (so Whitney gets a longer sentence).

"She gives birth in prison and Zack has to raise the baby alone? This will mean Zack will stay and have his own baby. Plus, a first time single dad story will be quite refreshing."
An X, formerly Twitter, user added: "Imagine if Whitney’s exit is her getting arrested for kidnapping."
"A potential prison exit on the cards for Whitney if this backfires on her. Didn't see that one coming at all!" a third chimed in.
Well, I guess we'll have to just wait and see how the story unfolds...

Shona previously opened up about why she decided to leave the beloved soap after starring on since 2008.
She told The Sun: "I have decided to spread my wings and will be leaving EastEnders.
"I have loved my years in the show. I have been trusted with some incredible storylines and have made amazing friendships which will endure."

The actor went on to assure fans that it wasn't an easy decision to depart from the show, telling Inside Soap: "It wasn’t an easy decision because I've made so many friends. I’ve seen people come and go, and meanwhile, Whitney has been one of the longest-standing characters.
"I've had so much fun and done so many storylines, some of which have been sensitive, and I've been honoured to be trusted with such heavy stuff year after year.
"So I'm going to be sad to say goodbye to my friends and family, but it was the right decision for me as I want to do other things. After 15 years, I’ve had a pretty good run!"
We wish you the best of luck in your next chapter, Shona!
