This week, Married at First Sight UK has been giving viewers a look into Sacha and Ross’s relationship, particularly how they communicate.
As Ross is hearing impaired and uses hearing aids, often relying on lip-reading to communicate with his wife, MAFS fans have been learning more and more about what it’s like to communicate differently in a relationship.
While many have praised the pair for maintaining a good connection and avoiding misunderstandings, despite the struggles of their different ways of speaking to each other, some have clocked an important moment during a recent argument.

Those who watched the pair clash during Tuesday’s episode (October 22) were left with questions after Ross did something to essentially end the argument right there and then.
It all began after Lacey dropped the major bombshell that Hannah and Orson 'lipsed', despite being married to Stephen and Rochelle, which led to the decision for both sets of couples to leave the experiment.
Alex, who is coupled up with Holly, then hit out at Rochelle for allegedly 'talking sh*t' and Sacha put him in his place for his comments towards the women of the group.

Things then got a little tense with hubby Ross after she called him out for not sticking up for her, even though he said he didn’t want to get involved with the ‘drama’
MAFS UK viewers went on to peep Ross' strategy for allegedly 'putting Sacha on mute' in middle of another one of their arguments, which saw him closing his eyes so that he couldn’t read her lips and know what she was saying.
This has led to a deaf Reddit user making an important note about their interactions, particularly how Sasha communicates.

The person shared: “As a Deaf person myself, I’m really really impressed with how Sacha, even in the midst of an argument, and extremely upset, was still making sure she communicated clearly with Ross, faced him directly, enunciated her speech, not overly shouting (which distorts the sound and lipreading making it much harder to understand) used gesture to help communicate her words.
“It really speaks very highly of her empathy and awareness, and how she wasn’t going to allow any miscommunication to exacerbate the situation more than it already was.”
The person was happy with how she takes the time to make sure that she is being clear when she talks to Ross, despite tensions being high.
They went on to say: “I also think how she was with him is how everyone should be when arguing with someone, whether they’re deaf or not. Pretty much everyone else there should be taking notes from her on how to have an argument without t disrespecting both them and yourself.”

However, they wouldn’t say the same about Ross closing his eyes.
One person replied: “I noticed this. She’s been so empathetic with him since day one which is why it’s doubly disrespectful when he intentionally wouldn’t look at her to lip read so she couldn’t communicate to him.”

Another replied and shared: “That’s definitely a d*ck move on his part. A classic Deaf move to be fair, but not one you should be using on your wife, especially when you know you’re in the wrong!”
