Disney fans are only just realising who Tarzan’s parents might be.
Now, we all should know by know that Disney is now stranger to raunchy hidden jokes, a relentless conveyor belt of easter eggs and connections between some of our favourite films in the Disney universe.
One of which involves none other than the 1999 classic, Tarzan, which follows the titular character's coming-of-age journey after being raised by a pack of mountain gorillas before rescuing explorer, Jane, who helps him realise he is, in fact, a human and not an ape.

In the film, we're introduced to Tarzan's parents who get shipwrecked on a jungle island and are sadly killed early on by a leopard named Sabor.
Baby Tarzan, however, miraculously survives.
However, one fan theory would suggest it wasn't just Tarzan who his parents left behind as he also had two siblings.

One fan theory that's been floating about for some time now suggests that Tarzan is actually the brother of Frozen's Anna and Elsa.
In Frozen, viewers are told Anna and Elsa's parents were lost in a shipwreck at sea, but fans have theorised that they didn't actually die but instead survived and washed up somewhere where they had a child, a baby boy, before finally meeting their fate with Sabor.
Yep, that means that Anna and Elsa's mum and dad, Queen Iduna and King Agnarr, are also Tarzan’s parents.

Chris Buck, who also directed Tarzan, kind of confirmed this in an interview with MTV News.
"Of course Anna and Elsa's parents didn't die," he shared. "Yes, there was a shipwreck, but they were at sea a little bit longer than we think they were because the mother was pregnant, and she gave birth on the boat, to a little boy.
"They get shipwrecked, and somehow they really washed way far away from the Scandinavian waters, and they end up in the jungle. They end up building a tree house and a leopard kills them, so their baby boy is raised by gorillas."
He continued: "So in my little head, Anna and Elsa's brother is Tarzan - but on the other side of that island are surfing penguins, to tie in a non-Disney movie, Surf's Up. That's my fun little world.

Buck added: "I say, whatever people want to believe, go for it. If you want to tie them all together, then do it. That's the spirit of Disney."
Speaking of family ties within the Disney universe, fans were left seriously shocked after only just realising who Riley from Inside Out grows up to be.
In a video posted to Instagram by @asheleysspam, the links between multiple Disney films were connected including Toy Story and Inside Out.

While you might not think they’re interlinked, Asheley believes they are and even 'proved' it in her clip, which shows her realising that Andy’s mum in the toy film is actually the same kid from the emotions flick - given the likeness of the two characters.
Now, while Riley really could be Andy’s mum, considering Inside Out was created a few years ago and Andy’s mum has been known to us for decades, the timeline doesn’t add up particularly well - which, IMO, makes for a pretty weak fan theory.
A Reddit user clarified in one thread which asked if the two characters were the same people as they look very alike.
This user pointed out the difference in technology, writing: "Riley has a laptop in the movie, meaning it probably takes place around now-ish. So that would mean that Toy Story takes place in around 2035ish? Not very likely."
