With many Grey's Anatomy fans believing the show has had it's hey day, some are hoping that a brand new star-studded medical drama - set to land tonight - will give them the drama they've been longing for.
And with several TV critics now having previewed of the latest FOX series, let's take a look at what viewers can expect?
A gap in the medical market
As we say, despite having once boasted the position of the most successful medical dramas of the 21st century, many fans of Grey's Anatomy believe recent instalments of the drama have seen the series 'go downhill'.

Following the eighth series - which featured the infamous plane crash and prompted several major cast members to leave the show - the drama started to decline in numbers, with the ninth series forfeiting 23 per cent of its audience.
In a Reddit thread recently, one fan put it down to actress Sandra Oh's shock departure, adding, 'that would've been a reasonable time to bow out gracefully. She was half of the central relationship in the show, it was weird to continue after that'.
"I'm on board," another added. "S1-8 are awesome. S9-14 are watchable. S15+ Complete garbage."

A third agreed, writing: "Up until 10 still feels like greys. 11 is weird in tone but still good. 12 is actually very good and better than 11 by a mile. 13-16 are pretty bad but have some fun moments. 17-18 are almost unwatchable."
Naturally, therefore, some fans have been on the lookout for another head-spinning drama to rattle their way through.
Enter, Doc
By the sounds of things, telly bosses had caught wind of fans' longing for something new to sink their teeth into, and as such, FOX producers have been working on Doc, in recent years.

The series debuts tonight in the US (8 Jan), and tells the tale of brilliant but unlikeable hospital consultant Amy Elias (played by Molly Parker) who - as well as suffering one of the most high-pressure careers known to man - is in the midst of a bitter divorce from her ex-husband.
Dr Elias also has a somewhat estranged relationship with her daughter - having tragically lost her son years earlier - and is embroiled in a difficult love affair with a younger male colleague.
All of that changes one day, however, when she is the victim of a devastating car collision and loses all of her memories from the last eight years.
The controversial medic is forced to confront the brutal reality of her current personal life, all the while maintaining professionalism at work.
