We're a little over a week now until the big day and it's clear many of us have already started our Christmas movie marathons to bring on the festivities the right way.
And the beloved Home Alone franchise is high up there on the list alongside the other feel-good family favourites, like Elf and How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
The festive flick came out three decades ago now in the 90s, starring a baby-faced Macaulay Culkin, Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern, John Heard and Catherine O'Hara.
The first film's plot centres around eight-year-old Kevin McCallister (Culkin) who is accidentally left behind when his family leaves for France.

At first, he's happy to be in charge; but when thieves Marv (Stern) and Harry (Pesci) try to break into his home, he puts up a fight like no other.
And while the majority of us will be able to recite entire monologues off by heart - it's clear not many of us are in the know about a certain cast member's age as Home Alone viewers are only just realising how old Marv is actually supposed to be.
Now, the film came out in 1990 - meaning that Stern, who was born in 1957, would have been 33 years old at the time of filming.

According to a social media post, this means that anyone born in 1991 or before will now be the age Stern was at the time - something which has clearly shocked 90s kids all over.
One fan hit out on Instagram: "He's only 33!? I'm 30 and he looks like he 50!"
"So he wasn’t in his 50’s??!" quipped a second, while a third echoed: "Marv looked like 50 though!"
A fourth chimed in: "Marv looked older cause he was hanging round with Joe Pesci."

"I always had thought he was 40-something in that movie," admitted a fifth.
A sixth confessed: "I always had thought he was 40-something in that movie."
"Yeah it's crazy," agreed another, "I don't feel like I look as old as he did back then even though I was actually that age in 2017."

And a final fan added: "Shut the front door!"
Macaulay stars in the blockbuster hit alongside his younger brother, Kieran, who recently revealed the honest reason why he won’t let his two kids watch the Home Alone films.
When discussing Home Alone with E! News, the Succession star - who shares daughter Kinsey, five, and son, Wilder, three, with wife Jazz Charlton - declared the film inappropriate for such young viewers, explaining: "There’s still some scary parts.
"For the three-year-old, there’s the tarantula [and] there’s the guy at the end who said, ‘I’m gonna bite off all your fingers'.

"That’s scary for a three-year-old."
He went on to admit, however, that he might allow his kids a look this time around.
"We think they might be ready for Home Alone this year,” he joked. "If not, next year."
